Plot Summary

Fashionable Yuzu imagined the first day at her new school she transferred to after her mother's remarriage a bit differently; she didn't know it'd be an ultra-strict and conservative girls' school. Passione is animating this which kind of surprised me. God I hope the art and animation quality doesn't crap out during its run like what sort of happened in Rokka.

The OP is delicious.

Not much to say about the episode itself. It looked good enough and followed the manga. "I can't believe the first kiss I've always dreamed about has been stolen by my new little sister" would make a nice light novel title.

well then. quite a hook episode. combination of great op, art, premise, gay, and faux-wincest? i'm in!

but for real though, i've heard some not positive things about the series before, but it can't really be worse than other things i've watched before.. you get some neat story elements by having Yuzu trying to adjust, Mei trying to break out, and the creepy teacher. the side characters look interesting enough. hopefully they'll be developed. for some reason, i got a minor WA2 vibe from this, but i don't expect it to be in the same league. if we get something more akin to Kuzu no Honkai's level, i'll be happy.

it's a little sad to think that Mei is kind of unsocialized because she's been alone for that long. her way of showing affection is probably the same way the teacher treats her, hence Mei forcing Yuzu down and kissing her like that.

Looks like the adaptation will work. How well is anyone's guess. But thus far, it looks like it will be worthwhile. In a world where Milk Morinaga titles will never get adapted, this one of of the better ones to get adapted.

Sounds like something I'd expect the author of Oreimo to write, though with a male protagonist obviously.
