But somehow, I can understand that a bit because the girls, compared to the MC, seen like lacking a bit of "depth" at moments, meaning that they don't seem to think too much.

My opinion of the girls (up to vol 2-3)

Claire: A stereotypical tsundere, but done the way it was supposed to be done. She gets mad for a reason, and has enough dere to give a good balance. And her tsun-tsun actually seems reasonable with her huge inferiority complex, that Kamito unknowingly triggers

Ellis: She's an "innocent girl with an erotic body". Generally good for laughs, and it's fun to watch her efforts to try to appeal to Kamito, especially with her friends egging her on.

Fianna: She actually surprised me. She acts seductive, but ends up embarrassed half-way through. That part's funny, but what I really like is that she's also more mature than the other girls, and was able to help Claire calm down. Harem Nanny in the making?

Est: Innocent troll, need I say more? Everything she says, I picture in this emotionless voice, that still seems to laugh at you. The best part is she really doesn't seem to get most of what's happening, and just riding along because she likes Kamito.

No, that show is dangerous. Even knowing about Hideyoshi, it's hard not to ship him and Akihisa. And I know I wasn't the only one who wasn't surprised when Aki-chan was more popular than Himeji and Minami.
