I was wondering what happened at the end of Gants. Im not going to watch it if the main char dies. Do any of them? Does it end good? If it ends good ill watch it. So what do you guys say?

That's a strange question.

'If it ends good I'll watch it'. Then don't , it has a whacked ending.

lol this anime had me lawling at every part, its funny to see teh writers ideas of peoples characteristics and behaviours. I'm done season 1 right now and hopefully season 2 is funnier and less aggravating. (i couldnt stand watching people not being able to do anything)

hello guyz! I'm new here. Join this discussion to know more about Gantz. Only read the manga until v8. Watched only few eps of the series.. Does the series faithfully follow the manga, like, until the end?

It only follows the manga up to volume 4 if I remember correctly but with some changes and from episode 22 - 26 it is completely different and the ending is really crazy with Kei shouting "I absolutely won't die Gantzzzzzzz" while a train was running towards him. Personally I like the manga way better. The anime has a slow pace, even in action scenes.

I think it is good, too but I found it crazy because it doesn't make sense at all.

I know the way Ragnar thinks, and that's the whole reason why it's good!

True that. But seeing as how both are awesome, I liked the whole delving into two seperate paths there.

I swear this had to be the worst series I have ever watched. It's just a bunch of people whining and crying and standing around like they're brain dead.

I thought it was going to more like Elfen Lied but boy was I wrong!

the anime doesnt do the series justice. you should really read the manga as the characters and plot is so much better. plus Kurouno dosent whinge and just instead just destroys shit. plus there are so many more interesting strong characters in the manga.

Announced last october .

Some update in ANN :

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...ve-action-film

And here a trailer :

Omg . As usual live action .. i'm not very into these cuz japanese aren't so great about playing actors or i can say "they are specials" .
And the characters don't look alike ..

Ι don't mind the character faces as much as the explosions looking silly. And where were fire explosions in the first missions, anyway?
