The only thing i liked about this episode was Taketatsu's voice acting.

Actually that voice is the biggest reason I started watching this series.

The setting does not really entertain me much.

It's the characters.

I had a bigger problem with the pink hair girl more than anything else I saw. I didn't mind the high school setting with magic powers. At least I feel they did a okay job breaking in the introduction into the world.

The intro was a bit weird though. I can't tell if it was because the music wasn't working well with the action scene. That and it looked a bit lame to see the dude floating in the sky writing magic letters in the air with that uniform. But the team work between the students looked cool.

I just watched the episode to give it a chance and... ugh. There are little things here and there that I want to like about it, but it just falls flat on all of them in one way or another. I might watch another one or two episodes, but I doubt I can bear much more than that.

I'm also completely convinced that Satsuki is THE most annoying character this season. She makes me want to hurt someone, that's how much I freaking hate her. The only thing I liked about her was seeing that asshole axe dude actually put her in her place.

Looked like the poor man's Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance. Yea, I know that wasn't anything special by any stretch of imagination but even from the 1st episode, it at least introduces a somewhat interesting protagonist which actually had an identity as Ren Ashbell as well as his own goals & such. Here we got mr.100% generic,self-insert,goody-but-two-shoes.

And while I am pretty flexible person that can overlook most details and not nitpick a series, I am having a terrible time not being annoyed by the pink haired girl voice. Everything else I can accept it and just let it slide, but that voice? I may end dropping this.

The suit is so special that she can just pull it up her shoulders. It's not like her actual shoulders are in the way if you pull it up like that... right?

Now i have a limited view of it but based off of the manga and the first episode this is a wash. Its not that its a bad concept but here's the biggest problem with it.

Its a show in that IS window (conceptually not in actual execution) where the MC is super powerful because he's unique within everyone else in the school and he gathers girls simply because of that uniqueness and most of the antics play itself out and are mundane. The main guy is a classic Ichika in that ya know he's gonna get a harem but he's utterly unworthy in how he handles it.
The pink haired chick is such an annoying 180 that even a mild attractiveness is ruined by the personality With what little i've seen of the purple haired chick she's basically a booby monster and other then that she's a deadpan character. I may watch another episode or 2 for pure amusement but rite now its a wash

EDIT: The fact it deviated from a manga within about 5 minutes is pretty sad. I was thinking of somebody else when i said Shana clone just getting rid of that
