(L) Overlord [LN]

So I am not quite sure I understand the premise here. Someone who can read Japanese, can you tell me if my synopsis below is accurate and answer the two questions I posed in it?

The main character was playing his VRMMORPG and the game was on its last day. The character decides to stay in the game until the very end because he was very deeply invested in the game. He puts on all his ultimate level gear one last time before the end. Then when it does end the game doesn't shut him out like its supposed to, instead it turns everything in the game into reality. (is that last part right or does it transport him to a similar fantasy world.)

There he has to live as his badass skeleton overlord character. (do his powers still work like they did in the game or does it become more natural. Like does he still need a menu to use abilities or are they instinctual.)

Why would you translate the synopsis? We already have all that. Read the previous posts. It's Log Horizon.

I didn't translate anything. I was stating what I guessed from reading the thread, put spoiler tags around it, and asked whether I had the right idea. I also put two questions asking for clarification about certain points. Also I haven't watched Log Horizon. It's on my to do list, the first episode turned me off when I first tried watching it.

I have translated the web novel with Atlas V14 + serveral user dictionairies and added some names. It is readable, but still machine translated... For those who can't wait for the translation, here is the second part of the prologue:

I want to ask something, are you translating this for the heck of it or to learn japanese? (It's not like i'm bashing you, just want to know)
Machine translated is not bad but i think ATLAS is a bad choice (maybe it's biased since i have bad history with it)

I read a lot of novels and know how it feels when the story is awesome and you can't understand it

I am just doing it because there might be people interested in the story who can overlook the very bad grammar and all.

I am using ATLAS because I couldn't understand the other machine translation I tried...

If someone is motivated in editing it a bit so that it looks at least half decent, I would gladly give them the edit rights.

Well, if you can, why don't you try using TA, i use it with mecab and jparser and honyaku.
About editing, i'm not an editor or something but i usually see the original text (japanese) on top of the translated text (per paragraph or line) for the editor to see if the translation carry on the meaning.
Maa, those kind of effort just like a full translation, don't mind it, just a little suggestion, i also want to try reading raw.

EDIT: BTW what's the different about Overlord and Overlord II? WN and LN? Or sequel?
EDIT2: NVM, after reading page 1 again i found out it's a sequel

I don't think we need a real editor, just someone who changes the sentences a bit so that it is easier to read

by the way as far as i have heard the webnovel has the true end and the lightnovel has the good end. So the story (at least the ending)is different?

Well the light novels are still ongoing, I would suggest that the web novels are the prototype rather then the true end. The light novels have additional information like character sheets
