Following the "It takes 3 KOF games before it becomes good" rule I eagerly look forward to KOF XIV. Hopefully XIII can at least fix the terrible netcode, add essential characters and actually last more than 2 months in Japanese arcades before being shunned.

I'm just hoping this game can make up for the disaster that was XII.

I actually liked XII despite its flaws. The CC system is kinda neat and it was a new experience comboing into and out of CD attacks.

In any case, I expect for XIII, it will go back to the free tag system of 2003/XI in some way.

Hopefully it turns out good. They should bring back the tag system that KOF XI had. We all know about the terrible netcode in KOF Xll. That needs fixing without question.

XII's fighting system was ok.

All XIII needs to do is add a great cast, fix netcode, add story mode, add more modes in general, fix the coloring on the characters to not look like crap when posing, add character intros, add specific intros (as in Kyo vs Iori) and give it to all of us who bought XII for free

They also need to fix Athena's design, just horrible what they turned her into. And yes a story mode would be nice.. lol @ XII being billed as a Dream Match when it's more a nightmare.

Looking forward to KOF 2002 UM more than XIII by far.

KOF 2002 UM is a lot of fun. Loads and loads of characters galore. Then there's the quick HSDM option which is a big plus for me. I got a bunch of matches in my channel although I'm hardly an expert so don't expect insane loads of rushdown pressure from me.

What SNK needs is to actually finish and polish the godamn game. Because KoFXII felt more like an unfinished baby than a game.

Hopefully they bring more to the roster this time around. Many of my favorite characters were left out of KOF XII.

The last king of fighters game was a disappointment, the graphics were good, but it was short of characters, hopefully this new one won't disappoint the fans.

Well this is a good start.

Still think it's going to be DOA in most countries due to SNK's shitty networking.
