A number of Gundam shows were able to predict the future of conflicts & warfare. For example, Gundam F91 & Gundam Wing rightly predicted the use of drones as viable tools of war with the Bugs & Mobile Dolls. Gundam 00 (2007) predicted the rise of middle-eastern-based terrorist organization that's even crueller & scarier than Al-Qaeda with vast pockets around the globe. The KSPA in Gundam 00 is pretty much a predicted stand-in for ISIS (which gained "popularity" in early 2014) where young boys are brainwashed to kill their meddling parents to join as child-soldiers. The Ireland bombing etc done by KSPA also predicted various attacks that ISIS did in various locations of Europe.

Now, with the racism running rampant throughout the world, I'm afraid if Gundam SEED's racism-based wars will become true someday. The difference being, IRL, the people who received racist treatment are not genetically-enhanced super-strong & super-intelligent people, for better or worse
