i bet it wouldn't go anywhere. Seeing what i have about Kagura i'm willing to bet he doesn't really know anything about sex. He's a serious guy but terribly naive and innocent in the ways of love, even worse than Amata. He'd be the type who'd take something in his arms and never want to let it go but at the same time doesn't notice a world of possibilities.

It's nice to know you straightaway assume the relationship has to go to sex. You know before the characters even properly talk with each other -_- It's not like they need to learn more about each other or that Kagura needs to learn how to socialise better, instead it's "Kagura probably didn't have any sex ed classes"

Now, someone needs to define what is the cross product of a Kagura and a Mikono, and an Amata and a Mikono. I know that the cross product, for example and with the assumption that they are all vectors (or in vectors! (Aha!)), Jin x Yunoha = Romeo and Juliet. If we apply similar logics (??) to the others and look for results in a similar way then: a Kagura x Mikono = Lion King, and an Amata x Mikono = Peter Pan.

Is the Lion King > Peter Pan? Let's check.

DLG (Domestic Lifetime Gross), respectively is: $422,783,777 and $87,404,651. Even if we add in all of the many Peter Pan spin-offs, they still won't beat out the Lion King (and that's ignoring all the random Lion King stuff out there we could add in to). So, clearly and with maths (!):

Kagura x Mikono >> Amata x Mikono

Many audiences, completely unrelated to this show (and many of whom are now probably dead, as both shows are at least 20 years old), agree with this conclusion.

I have made my illogical argument of sound logic. I'd like to see any one do any better.

But I can't see very well your assumptions of Kagura x Mikono = Lion King and Amata x Mikono = Peter Pan. Even if I can't speak for Lion King, because I never watched it.
