Nobunagun
Was surprised that a search turned up nothing appart it being mentioned in the announcement thread since it's been announced for a while.
So yeah here's a few images that hooked me. Liked the charadesign a lot so I figured "might check this out" Then I read the synopsis on ANN: Quote:
This sounds crazy enough to be awesome so I will most definitely be watching it this winter The studio handling the show will be Bridge, there's no further staff info yet.

The visuals are really solid, my only gripe is that the characters other than the protagonist have the name of historical people, they could've used them on the weapons like they did with the Nobunaga's giant gun that the protagonist is equipped with. As for the premise, this is either going to be really unique or just becoming another generic action show, I feared that the superpowers will be handled generically, which I hope it wouldn't go that way. Still I'll wait for the first episode to come, but I like the characters and the cast seems promising.

It seems we're in for some yuri subtext. The girl with the hime cut seems to play the Miku role for this series EDIT: Spoiler for pics:

Whole voice cast.
Shiori Mutō as Shio Ogura Ai Satou as Commander Akeno Watanabe as DOGOO Akira Ishida as François Vidocq Ayumu Murase as Antoni Gaudí Chiwa Saito as Geronimo Kenjiro Tsuda as Robert Capa/Annus Koji Yusa as Saint-Germain Makoto Yasumura as John Hunter Mutsumi Tamura as Suho Nobunaga Shimazaki as Mahatma Ghandi/Mahesh Mirza Nobuo Tobita as Oda Nobunaga Sumire Uesaka as Galileo Galilei Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Jack the Ripper/Adam Muirhead Yuu Asakawa as Isaac Newton/Jess Beckham It's definitely not yuri since a) balanced cast b) article on tvtropes would be ready by now, since it's tumblr-ridden site.

I'm not saying it's a yuri series. I'm just saying the MC is gay for her best friend. That's what I see in the PV, and is consistent with what I heard from manga readers.

And then tumblr was created and cancer from there spread for entire internet. Ok. Now to technical reasons: there is yuri no series where cast is balanced. MC being gay = yuri/yaoi series.
