Pretty sure it was there this summer too. Let's be realistic: It's delayed again.

I'm not expecting more than a movie or some OVA to ever be relesed at this point either.

I'm getting frustrated by the all quiet, but I'm gonna wait for some official news. Despite what that chart says about the new Sailor Moon, they did say that the series was going to be a reboot of the Sailor Moon anime and not a Movie or special. But in the chance that they do decide to make it into an OVA, it'll feel a bit too much like a cheap cop out for me.

Though on the flipside of things, it did seem odd that they're selling merchandie based off of the old anime when the new one is so close. I would have thought they'd be selling merchandise based off of the new series to help promote it.

I take it it's listed as ONA because it was initially announced that it would be streamed worldwide. That doesn't mean it's just a one-shot instead of a series.

Of course, all that's moot since it seems it will be delayed again (and probably indefinitely too).

Yeah, that list tells us nothing at all, sadly. Anyone can make them and put whatever they want.

Tbh I can't see this even being in production, considering that as pointed out, they're selling merchandising based on the old designs, which wouldn't really make any sense if the series was about to air in the forseeable future.

Well, now we know that interpretation was off mark. "Not 2014" probably meant 2015 or later.

It's a very ambiguous statement. Maybe he was saying "Summer 2013 might not be in the cards, but it's still slated for 2013." Maybe 2014's considered a possible target point now that 2013 didn't work out. The best shot we could have at decoding what he meant would be to examine the tone of his message (if he meant 2013, the tone would've been one of reassurance; he might've been reserved or apologetic if suggesting that there was a delay as lengthy as Summer 2013 -> somewhere in 2015), but his reply was too short and nondescript to derive any sort of tone from it, so who knows.
