As Miles Teg already mentioned, it could be Haruhi Season 2. I really hope he meant FMP 4, though. I would be happy with either. Think he could have possibly meant a Key adaptation as well? I don't know what he has directed so...

Now this is interesting. I hope the "secret project" is somehow related to FMP...

If he actually bothered to type out a secret project on the KyoAni blog, it is most likely something related to KyoAni. It's another marketing strategy to get people hyped about a 'new project'. He could be working on a Key adpation, but most likely he wouldn't be the director. The director for Key adaptions is always Tatsuya Ishihara.

Now Gatou hasn't updated his blog for ages. Gatou could be helping the hollywood adaption...-roll eyes- A movie adaption does us nothing bad, if it's good then we'll get our season 4, if it's bad, the original fans would still be fans. But Furumeta Musikaru (I think that's how you spell it) would be a hilarious movie.

FMP comedy wouldn't work in a Hollywood movie, especially our beloved harisen wouldn't even make an appearence.

Yeah He definitely is working out it because it's about to be summer so he probably thinking of some way to make it a good ending where every fans is satisfiy with.

As for the secret project I doubt it's haruhi 2 since everybody know it's coming.

Until an official announcement is made Haruhi season 2 is still a secret and up to now we have no true proof of the existence of Haruhi 2.

I know that there wasn't an official announcement about Haruhi 2, but I think, it's obvious that there will be one more season... So, I hope so, that the secret project is about FMP But I know that it might be Haruhi 2... :/

On topic, I'm hoping they don't wait too much for this, after the last book comes out people will start caring. (Doubt they'd be hyping all this secret thing this much for FMP, but I'd be excited if it were )

Yakitate!! Japan is about bread, I seen a little bit of the chinese dub on TV while I was in hong kong. It was alomst a parody of a cooking anime.

I wonder, if Kadokawa troll us like how they troll Haruhiists, would this thread move as fast as Haruhi Season 2 thread. If they actually not troll us, and announce the anime in a normal way, how many people actually would get excited?

Haruhi is really special and FMP is clearly not a that level, so even after an announcement of a new season threads won't start to grow at that speed.

What I really want to see if a new season is announced, is how the moderator will take care of the spoiler who appear every where on this sub-forum. For most of us it will be nearly impossible to enter prediction thread or even to go to episode discussion thread where we can start to speak about future events without even realizing it and be banned for this

For me the moment a new anime is announced I will leave this thread, after full spoiler for the last novel are released I will leave the sub-forum. If a new anime is announced I won't be that excited, the only thing I want to see animated is the AS fight, I prefer the novel for everything else

Okay, new episode of Haruhi is up. Now that KyoAni would actually make a sequal for a Kadokawa series shows that we have our chance for a new FMP.

Why? Haruhi is a clear cashcow and there was no doubt at all a second season would be coming. Not so much with FMP.

(On a sidenote, the Haruhi subforum is making me crack up right now.)
