Background seems a bit bland and the contrast between the right and the left side is a bit large. I'd try some shades a bit closer of each other and add a touch of purple from her dress.

I won't be around this forum for weeks, meaning there won't be any updates on this thread. I just received a sudden call from my mother (just 31 mins before this post of mine) about the death of my little sister who's been living with her far away from where I live now. After today's college class, I'll be reserving a flight ticket (the sooner flight the better) just to visit her funeral.
