Gurazeni. Sports series are pretty hard to get it right, there the kodomos shonen, there the melodrama or parody seinen, this one is like a hybrid of both seinen and how sports are a hard world and a player in his carrer Zenith when raise to get more money, dunno how the manga is but this would be an interesting ride, give it the chance will be a nice anime.

Well, it's different.
I'm probably more interested in this than I would be in a regular baseball themed show because it's different. I do like the idea of a relatively low-paid player approaching the end of his career and trying to provide for his future and worrying about what he's going to do once his pro career is over. Could be one to watch. Wondering when we're going to properly meet the girl in the end credits, though. |

Well Yeah Bonda have some massive mental habits, anyone with less money is easy catch, more he flatter, superstars he pull his best, the key will be he threat anyone bigger that him as superstar but that is mental taxing, ditto low difference like not much/lower....still that tied was so funny and ditto the manager fight.
And the second part Akira, a starter pitcher in a downtrodden streak..and what a game, was so excitring and we only saw the highlights, still show how much a team sport this is. Well next chapter is interesting, at this pace we will meet the whole, team. Nice chapter |

Amazing combining both side story here, and the theme of the Yamanashi Perfecture as the common link, Yeah the begin always show who will survive before the direct trades time start. yeah nice Ohno will become the japanese Giancarlo Staton and Bonda you should thank him, even if you don't lower your ERA you still got it low, and Nice the other friend say the direct truth.
Umm nice week is interesting. |

Nice contrasting chapter again, as say the old veteran still want to play till the end and all the behind of the scenes jazz that means, seems the batter will still keep rolling.
The second one..what a double meaning, yeah being a pro is both a dream and a nightmare for a lot of people but show how we don't have to sell short Bonda and other Athlethes.(If you ask what is Koishen...that is High School Japanese Equivalent of World series) Next Chapter is so metafictional...did the manga do a chapter like that? if yes, that is pretty metafictional too. |

I'm the last man standing here? a shame this anime is pretty unique.
Yeah a good teacher and bad example and was something how training, adjustements, tricks all make part of the pro career, still nice Bonda trying new things. Nice chapter and waiting next one |

I'm watching it, too. It's a shame that it's just 12 episodes long, because there's so much material to adapt, and while I enjoy these uniquely grounded stand-alone stories, I'd like to see a longer arc with bigger stakes.
With just 3 episodes to go, it's odd that the girl from the ED has yet to make an appearance. And she won't be in episode 10, going by the preview. Ideally, this would be a sign that they have plans that extend beyond this season, but I'm not holding my breath. |
