good first episode, it was nice fun with yumi/asuka interaction and the animated was pretty good. then we get to the second half...... damn this got dark quick but i like it! i was expecting asuka to lose to those two but Damn i wasn't expecting such a asskicking with blood in this.

As someone who has only watched the first season and hasn't played the game, I'm a bit lost with all those new characters featured in the OP. But maybe they'll introduce them properly, I don't know. In any case, it's not like plot is the main reason I'm watching this.

just look up the kagurawiki, it explain who the characters are. they will not likely they introduce them proper since by timeline most of the game event have happen. i only play one of the game, so i had to look up who some girls as well.

It's not that often the a CR simulcast gets the uncensored version from the start. Nice to see it happened for this show this season.

This season is so loaded I forgot that this is also airing.

That said, this is quite a change of tone from the first season. Until I saw the next episode preview.

This is gonna be my guilty pleasure for the next 3 months.

I wasn't expecting them to follow up with a swimsuit episode. There was more fanservice in this one ep than in the entire first season. So many boobs... and there was that ED. Even more boobs...

Now I get why the Hanzo girls are barely featured in the OP. They're apparently going to spend the season as hostages. Kinda sucks, since they're the girls I know the best. But I have Homura's team to fall back on.

Hanzo got a lot of focus in S1, so I think it's fair that the Renegades & other schools get some spotlight this time for the sake of some worldbuilding.
