First part-

It seems they skipped to volume 11 for this part.
It focuses on "how people tend to be distracted by rather pointless things rather than focusing on the important things".
I'm sure pretty much everyone here has experienced this before.
They also showed Kino and his bad fashion sense, but unlike the manga, they never introduced him first.
But they added in some weird alien/robot invasion for some reason...
But the random screens of some characters watched by the aliens were funny-
-Harumi demonstrating her amazing physical abilities
-Mayo plugging a dog's hole again
-Chie being ignorant of the invasion
-Kiri in a swimsuit
As for Chiri getting larger... the people below her must be getting a view...

Second Part-

FINALLY, Jun gets his introduction episode.
Nozomu should have realized that Jun did not read his heart, but simply has read almost all of the books.
Kafuka says the most dangerous things with ease, again. "just be a heartless person"...
Jun's character trait is pretty much the least harmful and the one of the most useful compared to the rest of the characters.

Third Part-

Chiri and Majiru and what they were doing while aliens were invading.

It's Kiri in the swimsuit. Anyway what was the first part again? Too distracted by Kiri and swimsuit. No wonder the ratings spiked at the end! Sorry Sensei..

PS The ED changed one scene - was Kaede replaced by Kaere?

The first part was on being distracted by pointless things.
It's somewhat hard to put into words completely, but here are a few examples that I though of and some from the anime:

-Flipping through a fighting manga, you turn to a page where the decisive hit is dealt, but the first thing your eyes go to is the panty-shot of the hot female character. <--Common in those ecchi mangas, like Negima
-Watching the news, the reporter, on the scene of the crime, is describing the gruesome dismemberment of the victims but your focus first goes to the freaky outfit one of the bystanders are wearing.
-In this episode, you just committed this act of being distracted if you looked at the credits scrolling on the bottom despite the show still going on.
-From the episode: Ikkyuu seeing Chiri's panties but only remembering the design on it.

Fan service at its best. Appetizer is the girls in their yukatas, then we get a whollop of Chiri Evangelion action. Then the climax with sultry Komori teasing Machiru and the viewers with her two piece swim suit... wow, surely, the next Komiket's Zetsubou Sensei presence has just increased five fold.

I despair; by the end of the episode, Chiri's awesomeness near the beginning had been completely overshadowed by the dangerous and tantalizing scenario with Machiru and Komori.

Poor Usui.... Nobody mentions his short section in this thread. His very brief section was completely overshadowed by the mecha war and Komori's hotness.

On contrary.... Chiri's clairvoyance ability might be cancelled if she takes Itoshiki surname.... She actually may even lose her properness, negated by "zetsu".

Tokita will be better. Ikkyu only likes old things and that does not mean that he is traditional. I doubt he is that conservative or traditional, for examples are his fixation on Chiri's panty and taking a female surname.
