Not a fan of the new colour schemes of that new suit, god knows what they were thinking with that one.
Hopefully whatever other suits show up will still have Red as the prominent colour. While I'm all for seeing more awesome Rob as Stark again, I'm actually looking forward to seeing more Miss Platrow as Miss Potts again, man how she totally works her magic in that role!

I think they're going for the "Golden" Armor where spray painted gold to his MK1 armor in the early comics of Ironman.
Dunno about WarMachine, betting it'll be a double gatling gun with some new missile and laser weapons I bet or mini probes that shoot laser. Yes fin funnel. HulkBuster Armor please in Ironman 3!!!!!

I'll be looking forward to this one as well. I adore the Iron Man movies along with Thor, they're about the only two Marvel characters I really like.
As for the suits of Armor, if memory serves Tony has like a gzillion of the things, all tuned for certain jobs in the comics, plus I wonder if we'll see the heavy armor that goes over the Iron Man armor? And it will be nice to see War Machine back in action as well! |

Looks like Tony is going to face the realities of not using a secret identity. Like it or not, he really should be living in a fortress. But that's just not his style; he wants to enjoy life, have a mansion next to the beach, and to have clear glass walls.
Tony tries to seek a balance. Freedom or security? Unlike others, Tony can provide his own security. But to do so, even by his own hands, would restrict his ability to live his own life his way. Once you live in metal walls and razor wire, you are in a prison you build for yourself.

Here's to hoping Tony has backups on the Iron Man designs somewhere. Though I don't doubt he can make armors even from scratch as he's always done.
And those flying armor parts

I like how they are focusing on the ramifications of the Invasion and how an individual lives after such an experience. The Marvel AU universe has been great at the interconnective continuity, so this pathos over New York really excits me.
That being said, I wonder if any other Marvel heroes (besides War Machine) will make an appreance in this film. Stark looks like he has a lot to fight, so some Hawkeye action, or even a new character (like Falcon in the new Captain America) would be nice. It's all about expanding the brand after all . |
