this is seriously good news! I loved Yoshiki Nakamura's Tokyo Crazy Paradise which unfortunately didn't get animated; now Skip Beat which is equally good is at least getting some love!
Then again, I'll reserve most of my excitement until I see which studio is animating it |

Since the manga hit the US market and was recommended to me, I was crazy about it and really wished to see it animated ^_^; It would sooooo good to see Kyoko hialrius moments in ACTION rather than reading it ^_^
I just hope the adaption will turn out as good as the manga in both art and story line... otherwise I will just stab myself for making that wish |

By most accounts they did a pretty damn good job with Aria and it's nice to see when looking over their work that they have done several sequel series. Having only read 4 volumes of Skip Beat I have no idea if there are any good stopping points but if there is I'm sure they will get to one and than make another series in the future.

Read volume 5-11 of this in a row yesterday... awesome stuff, I especially loved volume 5.
I like Yuki Goto... but this would be one horrible, horrible choice and would kill the character. She can barely manage Hikari how is she going to handle someone as dynamic and vibrant and scary and all over the place as Kyoko? I actually don't even know who would do a good job as Kyoko... I'm totally perplexed! Sanae Kobayashi, Ami Koshimizu or Satsuki Yukino maybe? What do you guys think? |

Hitomi Nabatame is quickly becoming one of my favs and I think she could do a good job with it. She's Kanade in Candy Boy, Kanu in Ikkitousen, Margery Daw in Shana and Eriko in Maria-sama. I'm also really looking forward to her upcoming role as Ryoko in Ryoko's Case Files.
I'll be happy with her... now who to voice Ren, Kanae and the President? |
