Damn this Chinese manhua is fantastic! Part God of War and part Berserk. The plot doesn't unfold typically at all. A ton of great characters, badass fight scenes, epic art and it's all in colour. What more could you want?

Eagerly awaiting the latest chapter now.

I've actually read all of part 2 in Chinese and the way the story is resolved is definitely well done and leaves you satisfied. It looks like there should be a part 3 as well as the story is not over at the end of part 2.

I really like the relationship between the main character and Bai Cai. It's not often that the more 'plain' girl is the main love interest and I love how the main character never even waivers in his devotion to her.

Well according to mangaupdates.com part 3 is on 34 chapters and still ongoing. The scanlators are doing a pretty good job releasing a new chapter every week.

from someone who read the original Novel this story is base on. The retelling is crap. The art style is way to similar to 80s, that style hasn't change in decades.

Aw c'mon, sometimes it's fun to read the embelished retellings. XD

And this artist was one of the ones that did more comics with ComicsONE a while back (Story of the Tao, Heaven Sword & Dragon Sabre, Four Constables, etc). I don't mind the old-school feel of the art - for me, it distinguishes it from manga and manwha (Korean).

So easy to see that Ah Lan has some green eye envy because of Bai Cai. But I do like the Dark One lead female general - I just think of them as Drow and everything's peachy. :3
