How about Pani Poni Dash!? It's actually classified as parody/satire, but it has the comedy and school that you want.

You might like School Rumble also. It's more like Ichigo Mashimaro than Lucky Star/AzuDaioh.

If you're really cool though, you will watch Kyou no Gononi. *insert evil grin smiley face here*

i change my genre anime coz.. maybe sick of all actions/fantasy/magic..... argh..

Though I haven't seen it yet. Hidamari sketch also seems to fit that bill.

Well the problem with Kyou no Go no Ni is that some people think that the anime is a little bit too...cute and a bit too...lax with the characters' age. I mean, I was never the same again (after rolling in laughter) after I saw 3rd period.

You might also like Manabi Straight! but I've seen mixed reviews about this anime, so see if you like this style of comedy.

doujin work is okay imo.

For comedies, I really liked Hayate no Gotoku and seto no hanayome. These 2 are the recent ones, last eps remaining for seto although.

Hayate is funny when u watch enough variety of animes. Other chars pop out of nowhere, its funny haha (gundam, mar heaven, fma etc. . .) I really liked the 2 seiyu of the lead chars too

Seto is funny too haha for some occasion ecchi and yaoi?(or nt) other than that, most of the time u see the male char getting whacked and chased at pretty a funny anime

Just chippin in here...

If you're after humor, try Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.... you'll never look at comedy the same way again after that. Unfortunately, the subbing groups are rather slow, but what's out there is really good.

oh my oh my.. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei looks good... mr. despair! hahaha

seto no hanayome i stopped watching at episode 11 coz of lucky star hehe.. i most prior..
while hayate no gotoku its plot is getting nowhere, wierder and wierder (i think) but i still love it hmm the episodes are 50+.
