“Even if I'm not a trooper?” Inami asks, cocking his arm-mounted particle cannon.

“The school board instructed you to be brought under my wing, so in a sense... you can say you are a trainee. A troublesome trainee while at it.” She deploys her [Raphael Revive Aegis Package]. “You can't take on your own problems... and you brought them to us.”

The comment struck a nerve for Inami. “I told you before, those were new drone types and I've never fought them before. How should I know what to expect of them?”

“That attitude needs to go.” She points to him. “Are you telling me you're going to be completely helpless against new threats?”

“That's not what I meant! I--!”

“You brought trouble to our school AND you got yourself captured that WE have to go off our own way to rescue YOU! Isn't that a bit embarrassing, if not extremely mortifying?” She cuts him off, angering him more.

“I don't let ego get the best of me. I know when I need help.”

She felt a prick from his words but manages to keep her cool. “Well you certainly do now. But you're not getting any, it's going to be just you and me.”

“I know.” Inami takes the first shot. Mikoto dodges it almost immediately and begins to strafe around him, quickly taking aim with the [Ingram] and squeezes the trigger.

He dodges the particle-solid dual shot which grazed his barrier and begins to move as well, dashing towards the walls while she fires again. The shots appear to miss and hits the ground but it was all too apparent; she aims to disrupt his movement indirectly.

“Running away, kid?!” She shouts as one of her shots nearly caused him to trip.

“You wish!” He rolls over another shot impact and returns fire from kneeling position. She launches the wired grappler but he rolls under it, again firing at her but misses when she sidesteps and fires another dual shot which hits him square in the chest.

The impact threw him back while she spins around, swinging the grappler in a very wide arc before hitting the side of his helmet as he tries to get back up. He picks himself and moves to aim but Mikoto has already swung the grappler again, this time entangling itself onto his particle cannon.

She reels him in like a fish and he could not shoot back. Instead, he deploys a beam blade from the cannon and cuts the reeling wire. As he stumbles from the swift drag's inertia, she closes in with the [Iron Sail].

“You're mine!” Mikoto lunges the assault knife but it gets parried by his particle blade.

She pushes the blade away and plants a foot into her grounded target, kicking him down on his back. Before he could recover, she steps on his chest and points the [Iron Sail] at his neck, signaling the security trooper's victory.

Ain't that typical in the IS verse, huh?

Not entirely. You haven't seen what I have in store for their second duel... which is even more serious because unlike the first, the second is personal.

Well, I dunno, I say "Female dominance, well fuck you I don't care" and went straight to harem/comedy/military wank without paying attention to that aspect much except for passing paragraphs in the backstories

If you want to bring a topic, either be careful about it, or you go all out while stay respectful about it.

For example, instead of "Hurr durr female canibal/mass rape of young boys" we can bring "That dude can't get a decent job without connection, the boys complained about school facilities, some of the girls always nagging about their superiority but mostly don't give a damn etc"

And you know what, your fic already had all of them, more than entire fandom combined. No need to add things that doesn't need to be there. You just need to FOCUS on that aspect if you wish for it.

Nope, gotta wait for it. It's practically all-out battle so gender alignment and chivalry is completely thrown out the window. If you need graphic reference. Imagine this and replace Gipsy with Inami, Leatherback with Mikoto (the security trooper)

You know what? IS is gonna fit in Vietnam, where there are a surplus number of female generals (in the past, at least).

Beside, I feel the whole "Female Superiority" is just another excuse for the harem to bash Ichika's head. In my fic, woman is much more reality. Yes, they are still be considered more important, but they don't show it out, just like how Indian and Chinese don't talk aloud that bearing a boy is more important than a girl.

That said, anyone here is female?
