Heh, Fuka and LLENN actually makes a pretty good pair together.

This episode went pretty fast with all the action. Too bad Pito missed out.

That first fight was amazing to watch, llen is really good at this.

I found it a little tedious to have every named team go by their comment at every action but the episode flowed very well.

I can’t believe pito listened to m and stayed out this entire time without going nuts and going solo

I like how every non-fodder team have their own scene time
now this really feel like a battle royale game

Great episode, but there are things that ruined this episode :

The retardation from the 1st Squad Jam is here again
Twice in an episode
I mean, c'mon... This tactic is so stupid

Also there are several translation mistakes

What he actually said "The favorites to win are still alive"

Not ambush, but "meet the enemy" or "intercept"

Look at LLENN, so motivated and fired up for this squad jam.

Haha that face he made after getting stabbed in the groin.

Good thing limbs come back after 2 minutes, Fuka was still able to get a kill even in that condition.

Great plan and great shooting by Fuka, her and LLENN wiped out another squad.

Pito is such a crazed lunatic, but I believe her, it will be a massacre.

No excusing the first team, but as for the second... The perspective there is bad, so you can't see it easily, but they're actually getting cover from the train platforms on either side of them, so it's not as bad of a position as it seems. Still, a sniper in an elevated position could pick them off easily, and (as we saw) they're wide-open for artillery.

From memory, there's a little bit of deviation from the source which makes things a little stranger than they otherwise should have been (as far as the specifics are concerned, not the conclusions)

This was a fun episode, and it even didn't mention the stupid motivation bit that I'm actively trying to ignore. But having ignored the little bits where it's mentioned it sure was fun. If only they were playing for the fun of it rather than some stupid edgey reason, it would be quite a bit better.

Cracked me up when I saw the second team in the same formation. Basically there's a lot of noobs in this tournament for some reason. They even had energy weapons even though it's pvp.

I guess most of the good players just don't care about Squad Jam. Even then, I think LLENN mentioned that there are qualifiers, except for teams that did well in the previous one. So these teams made it through how exactly?

What reason do you have to doubt Memento though? LLENN is going on hearsay that fits with her impression of her, but Memento is only giving personal account of his experience partying with her, and the impression he got was one of someone who was filled with an abnormal bloodlust that he and the other teammates couldn't handle. The fact that she then hopped from party to party, unable to stay anywhere long, and soon found that no one would team up with her seems to support this assessment. It doesn't confirm anything, but it does fit what you'd expect if the guy was right about her basically not wanting to care about "life" and seek death for all, including herself and her teammates along with her enemies.

Frankly, the only reason I can see for questioning his impression is by the inverse assumption that a person couldn't be that crazy. But as long as one assume it's possible to be that in love with death, there's really no reason to doubt him. That doesn't mean he can't be lying, but why would he? And for that matter, how many eyewitness accounts or failed relationships would it take before we should accept that it's more than just the delusion of her admirer?

As it turns out, for some inexplicable reason, a fair number of players recently developed a sudden interest in using energy swords, and they tend to charge straight at their opponents across open ground, making huge targets of themselves.

As I recall, he said she's crazy more because she kills her own teammates given the slightest opportunity.

Llenn and Fuka bring down the pain! Sure, it was to a bunch of jobbers, but hey, gotta show they have what it takes somehow, and seeing the little rabbit knife someone's crotch, amongst other shows of badassery, sure is a fun way to do so. Props for the small talk remaining fun, specially llenn's comment about how wiretraps got her nervous in real life.
