@tachikoma_kun,
Wow you work with lightwave (I never got really used to the handling of this prog -.-') You seem to use nurbs components, do you animate the model in lightwave or do you plan to use other software (like Maya or 3DSMax)? The model looks good, I'ld like to see a cellshaded version, and a version with a metal shader

Cool, very nice job. Is that NURBS i see before my eyes? I can't wait to see the animation.
But i never really like the Tachikoma as much as the One Who Came Before.. the Fuchikoma! Unfortunately due to licensing problems they had to chenge them in the series, which made me sad. You should model that, too... and have fun with the rear pod XD. http://www.deviantart.com/view/3824765/ This was my attempt at it in Rhino 3D.. before I detailed it better, and before my HDD died an ugly horrible death via electric shock... it makes me cry to think about it. |

Awesome model, I'm still waiting to do mine when I have spare time. Just one thing thats obviously wrong. Your fingers/claws are wrong. They should be fatter and there also jointed fingers. And the gun piece that sticks out in the right hand is fatter then that, also the metal piece that is part of the arm it doesn't come out in a seperate circle. Also I can't see it but the front legs don't seem to have the metal covering over the joint and i'm pretty sure the back ones are silver (metal) also. Other then some really nice work man.
Check out here for a decent reference pic and some info and link to the shader they used for the production ig tachikoma. http://www.cgnetworks.com/story_cust..._id=347&page=2 |

The claws look MUCH better, nice job. Only like 2 other things for now, the right arm still needs to be fixed at the end and the screws hat are on top sink in hey don't stick out, also the one on the left is a ball not flat. Also make the top red markers lights, maybe something more where it lights the inside really good but no beam of lighs brightning you. and the "handles" on the side of the tachikoma blue. A good reference pic is http://64.41.72.200/IG//images/fulls...d4f4776f03.jpg and look at the gallery for other good ones. also change the name of the pic in url "mediums" to "fulls".
