Picks: 1-0-1
Predictions: 2-0 (62-12)

Congrats to Yuno for making it to her second Block Final. That's nothing to Nanoha's four. Great results all in all for me, despite Noda taking the fall. Good thing it's at the expense of another Top7 chara for me. Great job by her overall (even taking the lead at the early moments).

Gotta help each other, yo.

So today, I just feel Yui and Isumi just have enough to overcome the Bakemonogatari combo. However, I'm gonna be supporting Nadeko and Isumi. The vote record will probably be broken today by Yui v Nadeko v Nymph. Exciting.

K-On set to Nadeko's song, fitting for today's match. Let's see how the two best selling anime of 2009 do against each other.

Well, Nanoha befriended some more girls, Kana was really close, good for her. Yuno made it, that's awesome, Miki was not so close, not so good for her.

So... for today:

A 2-2: <<平沢唯@けいおん!!>> (Hirasawa Yui @ K-ON!!)

B 2-3: <<鷺ノ宮伊澄@ハヤテのごとく!!>> (Saginomiya Isumi @ Hayate no Gotoku!!)

It's getting even more hurtful to choose picks now, it was hard for me to choose between Nymph, Nadeko and Yui for the today's main event, in the end I went with Yui. On the other side, I'll support Isumi one more time.

Nadeko is ever-so-slightly losing her edge. Doesn't look like her presence is helping Shinobu much, either.

On the plus side, my second waifu Himari is doing better than I expected.

she is ahead of yui and for shinobu, she is only 30 votes behind well within a late hour charge and it is still way early.

interesting baring fake votes, Nadeko is starting to put some distance between her and Yui.

Thank you Captain Obvious, but my point is that Nadeko's lead is dwindling. And Shinobu has go through two characters now. Of course, this is all assuming little to no fake votes.

not like she had a big lead to start off with as long as stays ahead i don't care how small the lead.

Can't say I'm too glad about the results, since pretty much everybody saw it coming from a miles away.

Anyways, voting Nadeko and Shinobu today. It's kind of interesting that the Isumi/Himari/Shinobu match is one of the first matches this year where all the contestants are fairly evenly matched(or so the vote tracker indicates as of right now).

Yesterday's Results:

Noda Miki - 317
Todoroki Yachiyo - 208
Yuno - 444

Hachikuji Mayoi - 225
Takamachi Nanoha - 536
Ikeda Kana - 481

Yunocchi managed to win her match without much trouble. I'm surprised that it was Miki and not Yachiyo that tried to challenge Yuno. Yachiyo had to deal with split votes in Round 1 so I expected her to look better in Round 2 but it was the opposite that turned out to be true. Nanoha didn't have things as easy as Yuno but managed to win with some room to spare. Like the other match, I'm surprised it was Kana and not Mayoi that stepped up to challenge Nanoha. Kana didn't have enough strength to get her revenge for her loss in the preliminaries and Nanoha advance.

Today's matches:
Nymph vs Sengoku Nadeko vs Hirasawa Yui
Saginomiya Isumi vs Oshino Shinobu vs Himari

We have another tough match today. Nymph is decently strong, but her strength pales in comparison to Yui and Nadeko. She's not going to be able to turn around the loss she had to Yui in Preliminary Group 15. Both Yui and Nadeko were up against fair weak opposition in Round 1 so it's hard to gauge where they stand. In preliminaries, Nadeko did end up finishing behind Azusa who is probably comparable to Yui in strength. That was a long time ago and it wasn't by much, though. Yui does have the advantage of K-On series starting to wrap up right now which may boost Yui in strength. Nadeko is going to put up a strong fight but I think Yui will come out of the match as the victor.

The second match should normally be simple. Isumi's natural strength is a lot higher than Shinobu and Himari. The problem is Nadeko being in the other match draws in Bakemonogatari fans which increases Shinobu's power. It's still a fairly sizable gap in terms of power. I think Isumi will be able to hang on and win. Don't be surprised if it seems Isumi underperforms in the match, though.

Votes:
Hirasawa Yui
Saginomiya Isumi

Prediction:
Hirasawa Yui
Saginomiya Isumi

Voting for Yui as she has become one of my most favorite characters ever. When I watch K-On!, I can't help but admire the care-free attitude that Yui has, while still being kind and hardworking. In my life, with the PSATs looming in the distance and other responsibilties like being yearbook editor and playing the piano, fun is the last thing on my list. And I certainly can't eat cake all the time without gaining weight. Yui never fails to inspire me a little every episode, so that's why I'm voting for her. Unfortunately, I have the feeling Nadeko's going to win, and, if she does, congrats to Nadeko fans. If Yui wins, though, that would be kickawesome.
