Well, that was definitely not how I imagined Juzo's arms would be replaced. I know they're very special so I figured Mary would get the blueprints from Victor or something, but no need, he had plenty of spares inside himself (how does that even work? ).

Not an overly important episode to be sure. Though some little character moments sprinkled in along with the utter nonsense. Completely believable that people would straight up get those kind of extensions.
But yeah, that's about all there is to say. Next episode should be better anyways.

Back to our regular programming. This was a pretty solid episode. It seems Tetsuro is thinking about controlling Juzo to draw out his power like the old man told him to. Next week, we'll learn about another Gun Slave Unit. Maybe we'll also find out how many Juzo killed in the process, it wouldn't be surprising if he and Seven were the only ones left.

Better than the last episode, especially since the punchline was funnier.
Testuro seems torn about whether he should actually force Juzo's power out, so maybe something will happen that will force him too.

So Juzo killed nine Gun Slave Units, meaning there are four left including him. We don't know the details of the battles, but that still says a lot about his full abilities.
As for the ending, I'm guessing Tetsuro had Mary take a look at his throat extension in case they did something to him, which of course they did. Another way to fool them would be him using harmony on someone else (or something, like lefty) right now. In any case, no way he betrayed Juzo.

Tetsuro using harmony on his own sub brain was a clever trick. We learned a lot about Berhuren (?), now these scenes where Tetsuro's father was taking orders from a giant statue make sense. The founders initially wanted to help people live better, but ended up wishing never to die. There's a big difference between wanting to live a good life and not wanting to die.

Not a bad solution that Tetsuro found there. You knew he'd avoided controlling Juzo, but the method was up in the air until we got the reveal.
Props to Tetsuro for standing up for himself and putting up a good fight here. Even knowing as much as he's learned here, right now he's willing to fight for his ideals. At least chasing the path of not having to sacrifice anyone.

All the people I've been thinking have been away for too long came back in the same episode. I'm guessing Juzo and Seven's fight will either end in a draw or with Juzo sparing Seven because he's already killed too much of his fellow Gun Slave Units. Seven seems to have the mentality of a child too, it'd feel wrong to kill him.
