The chapter had a rather predictable ending; hell, Machiya himself said it would end predictably. I actually started to hold a bit of respect for the guy when he claimed that he wasn't going to fall for Machiya's "trick", but quickly fell for it anyway =0\.

So in short what we learn in chapter 16 is that everyone has a few screws

loose. The ending was kind of surprising. Soooo the condition for someone is to die is to be having sex while getting killed...?

I kinda don't get the scene with the girl.
At first it looked like she wasn't there on her free will, but then they say she cheated.

I don't get what it is now. Though I don't really consider this a proper mystery to begin with so I will go with Mai is the culprit.

My second guess being the guy who tries to seed dissent the entire time.

Perhaps the Raccoon murderer is working with the girl? Bait someone into the room with her body and have the Raccoon murder the dude.

My point is more that the very beginning of that scene contradicted what the MC said later on.
One option makes her boyfriend way more suspicous than the other due to his lack of reaction.

Machiya gets a co-star for the guy...who turns out to be Mizuno, the film club's actress who actually survived as she only had a broken nose thanks to Machiya telling Mai to spare her. So for two days, Machiya films the guy having sex with Mizuno and gives him a million yen to spend where for the first time, he enjoys himself. Until the last day where Machiya tells him to kill himself using a explosive collar as the point of his video was for the guy to experienced happiness until getting despair before dying. The guy accepts his fate at first, but when Mizuno calls out if he ever cared about her, he finally begs to live before dying. Despite filming the whole thing, Machiya finds it boring. I'm surprised is Mizuno is alive. It makes me think if Oushima and Betsuki were still alive, they would be all part of Machiya's twisted harem. __________________

Spoiler for About the chapter: Machiya spent all of that money in order to make that suicide video and still didn't get the "excitement" he wanted, on the other hand that suicide-guy got to live it up before dying and even got to do it with Mizuno. For Machiya this was nothing but a big waste of time&money spent on that other guy..... somehow that just makes me mad
