Write protection??
I have a mini sd card and a usb holder for my DSi which was working fine a few weeks ago but now became write protected all of the sudden. I can see the files, I just can't delete or add any files into the sd card. There aren't any problems when it's inserted into the DSi. There isn't a switch so I have no idea how to disable the protection. I've read some solutions on google but it either didn't work, or I couldn't understand. I'm using an msi windbook laptop and I'm on windows XP
Anyone run into this problem before ? |

There is actually a small switch on any SD card, make sure that one isn't switched on, that locks the entire thing making you unable to write or delete things on it. Like a protection system.
It is on the side of the SD card and it is grey |

My bad then :/
Windows XP can block it as well seemingly, however only solutions so far are those that require a reformat. You did check to see if the usb is not set on Read Only? From windows explorer, right click-> properties->take the tick out of read-only box-- ? Tried scanning for virusses on it? Does it only lock on your computer but on others also? Try one with another OS than XP Also if you can't manually reformat (try manual first :/ ) it try this http://www.apacer.com/en/support/dow...r_v2.9.1.1.zip |
