It doesn't seem to have a point. :/

The thing with Higurashi and Umineko is that, while there were some very hardcore scenes, they all had a purpose, some kind of deep message to convey. What I'm seeing here is brutal for the sake of brutal, in other words, gorn. Maybe I'm judging it too early, but what I'm seeing is brutality with no buildup, no obvious message, just for kicks. I can't get into something like that.

For now I'll be sticking with Umineko to keep me satisfied with it's stimulating plot and satisfying emotional payoff.

She also looks a lot cuter with white hair and no glasses. Tsunohazu Ichirou's art is freaking amazing at the moment of the transformation. Well done, Marie. Still I wanted more blood ... more gore ... god I hate that teacher so bloody much. Great chapter.
