Last time C.C. acted like a shield, she took Orange-kun down with her, remember? Shield reference seems to mean taking a full impact while protecting someone... I'm not sure how's that going to turn out but she's going to take some damage... if she's no longer immortal (by then), it could possibly mean her demise.

If C.C. is to be his shield, I get the distinct feeling that C.C. will protect him from Kallen's surprise attack next episode. And it would be interesting to see C.C. and Kallen's interactions when they're on opposite sides of the playing field, so to speak.

Well, V.V. had the Siegfried and was holding his own against multiple Knightmares quite well until Cornelia did her backattack and critical hit for extra bonus damage.

No. V.V. was probably a more than capable pilot, it's just that Cornelia sort of kicked his ass.

Charles is an Emperor. He doesn't need to be out in battle. If he went out in battle and put himself on the line and then died, that would be a huge issue for Britannia. Thank goodness Lelouch picked up for him!

That's probably why they showed Anya being involved. She'll probably switch sides because of her memories and because of her records with C.C. acting as a catalyst.
