It seems like they're getting released fast anyways, so I can't complain, really.

I checked the site and they plan to release the second volume of Onikakushi-hen sometime in February.

Meaning that we have to wait two months to get it while the manga of it in the US is already finished!

Sadly Yen Plus is a tad bit expensive, and I can't really see myself subscribing to something that cost like so much a year.

Although they aren't releasing the volumes as fast as they could, like every 2-3 months, it beats waiting a chapter a month in Yen Plus that's for sure!

There really is no connection between release frequency and if it's in the magazine or not. In fact, Higurashi was one of their fastest released series, and it was in the magazine. Haruhi, however, which is not in the magazine, is getting released slower than Higurashi.

Higurashi releases are fast, Yen Press overall does a decent speed with a good deal of releases, maybe Nightschool tankobons will end up being huge or something, I dunno lol.

Chances you will see companies releasing volumes as fast as they can isn't exactly high.

I have a question about Kokoroiyashi-hen. Not really sure how many people HAVE access to that manga-only chapter, but does anyone have any clue if there is more going on in that arc other than just "Rika and her after-school club’s first summer vacation together"? (... vague description grabbed from Wiki) Curious.

It's hard to tell...it doesn't seem like it's going that way, and due to the fact that it (highly suggests that it)takes place after Matsuribayashi-hen, it might just be one of them fun-arcs.

Of course, leaving the village is a trigger for the syndrome, so who knows.

I couldn't find anything on google (Maybe I didn't look hard enough) about Kokoroiyashi-hen...so it was a cell phone game!? Can you or ANYone else post pictures or videos?

Also what is the One Shot? Pictures?

The One shot manga is Hinageshi-hen.

It is just a girl that was from the Orphanage. In the anime never shown (To what I can remember) any deaths in the Orphanage, but in the manga it does.
