Welp, I guess that's end of our little Another Deathwatch Squad. It's been awesome. I think it'd be fitting for sa547 to finish the job, as he was the person who came up with the idea in the first place.

Corresponding to the first occurence of the calamity, it seems that the power of belief is at fault, for being so powerful enough the laws of nature can't allow it to happen.

Law of Nature: "This person is dead. Time to move on..."
People: "No! She's not!"
LoN: "What?"

*Dead person exists again*

LoN: "Wait what? This is so against the rules! Must... do... something!"

*Calamity begins*

LoN: "Damn it! It's not this person either! WHERE'S THE DEAD ONE!?"

*Calamity continues*
*The Another dies*

LoN: "Whew, that does it. But damn, talk about collateral damage. Gotta thank that guy for the coup de grace though. I know! Let's make him forget everything, and everyone as well, so that they go on living a happy daily life!"

*Everyone forgets what happened.*

Finally watched the finale episode. I was worried on all the work you would have to do looking how things were going to in the prev episode. Excellent work!! to Aphrah too

Thanks again, guys.

Since we started putting up the board, it wasn't easy trying to track them all, as it took several replays and pauses to check and double-check, especially with the show being dimly-lit (making it hard to identify each of the characters, especially the hair color and style). There were also some mistakes and details I missed, but I'm glad there are those who pointed them out, so my great thanks to them, too.

Overall, despite that the show was as good as a teen slasher movie in the end, especially with the plot (lots of plot holes!) and characterization, and that it didn't explore other facets of the original novel (minor characters such as Kirika), and many other flubs, it shone out in other aspects such as the cinematic use of sound and music, and gorgeous background artwork.

The lesson that Another gave me is this: fear is the most powerful human emotion, and when combined with superstition, ignorance and mistaken beliefs, all that leads to tragic consequences.

About the scoreboard, saying "the Another assumed the identity of the deceased" is incorrect, because the Another is the deceased.
You can still use the line connecting Reiko and Mikami and relabel it as "same person".

after watching the last episode and learning that Another has a sequel, i came up with a crazy theory

what if in the sequel, Kouchi found a way to time travel? That way he can go to the past to stop the curse once and for all. Also it could also explain why the killer who killed Reiko looks like Kouchi

He only looks like Kouichi for a second, if you take a closer look you can clearly see that it was someone else.

Incorrect. Even if Reiko is saved, someone else would be resurrected in her place.

If you have a time machine, the smartest move would be to go straight back to 1972 and avoid former Misaki's death at all cost. That was the one event that triggered the whole chain, so it would be like cutting the phenomenon's deepest roots.

Spoiler for Can't say...: The survivors are really not sure if the phenomenon is over, so they put up an insurance policy in case the curse happens again... meaning to say, there's no definite solution to the problem. __________________
