First anime to be dropped this season. Bullshit. Seriously, it bored the crap out of me, and I tried my best to persevere too...

Which aspect bored you?

I find that the plot is going a little slow ... but the manga's also slow at the beginning.

Other than the chracters which interest me due to the different power and relationship which is not yet very clear between yuki and zess, i find that it is developing too slow and makes the series boring where some of the scence is acctually can be fast forward?

I watch this show mainly because of Odagiri's Sad Boys, but I must say that the BGM music is outstanding. The violin action piece in the end of Episode 3 is a particular favourite of mine. Props to the music composer, I'll definitely keep an eye out for his works in the near future.

Episode 6. I enjoyed it a lot. Even though you might say it moved slowly, I was surprised when it ended: I felt as if it might be only about halfway through. I think I might be getting into the feeling of this show. And in come more great voices: Ono D. and Miyano Mamoru.

Did past-life Yuki have any other outfit besides that hideous, frilly white dress; would she really wear that on a "battlefield"? I'm sick of seeing her virginal/martyr/messianic qualities referred to. I'm glad there isn't a big fight every episode, but Yuki should be a little more weary of these people, imo.

As predictable as Ive found the first 5 epis to be...I cant stop watching this Half is the seiyuu cast, I mean dear god, OnoD and Miyano finally shows up in epi 5 <3 Still waiting on Kamiyan But also the BGM is just wonderful. Im hoping the action picks up, I do remember the manga starting slow but it just seems like this has been slower. Pretty good action in epi 4 though. Plus I nearly died when Luka called Yuki, Master

Completely with you on that - I particularly looking forward to HiroC's character because I already knew about all the others through the drama CDs. (Now, if only Nakamura Yuuichi would show up somewhere, then I'd have virtually all my current favourites in the same guilty pleasure...)

Ponderously slow. Fairly predictable. A bit overdramatic. But irresistible.

^^Great description, KC! I like the flow of the words!

Yeah, it's sucking me in too. I'm really getting into it, but wish they would develop Luka more. However, the voiceovers at the end lend a certain aura of how he is just by the things he says and does and asks-- it's such a brilliant way of adding and showing a whimsical, everyday ordinary life of these characters. It's almost like shortcut character development, an efficient method. I like it a lot!

It's actually getting better and better because of how epic they make every scene. I wish I could have my clothes flapping in the wind as I say, "I will not betray you." LOL! It's great!

A lot of people like the BGM, and I do too, but at first, I thought it sounded like porn music. >.< But I still dig it, because I like the jazz, haha.

Now that we've met "god's eyes," and "god's light" I wonder what other of "gods" body parts these boys might be found to have in the bedrooms of Twilight Mansion. Unfortunately, plenty of sad young orphan boys are exploited, tricked into entering life at a brothel, even perhaps by stories of reincarnation and epic battles. I'm not sure yet if this show is really irresistible for me...

Whoa, there's a conversation starter. Hah.

I'm sorry, but I don't really understand what you mean.

Is that something we will find out? Or is that some remark on our diverse human population?

Oh, I'm just joking a bit about my frustration with the show, that's all. I'm sure no such twist will occur.

^^Ahh, haha, I see. I feel no such frustration --- actually, after epi 7, I am officially addicted to the show. I loved this episode -- the breaks of comedy were great, the voice acting, once again, just blows me away. Why can't Luka do the Pimsleur language tapes?!! Gah!

The series treads on very familiar grounds -- including a cute little furry thing that turns into a dragon, the emo-ness, the borderline fanservice, etc. but it is so darn addicting!

I actually want to know more about the story, and I want to know more about Luka and the side characters, and I want to know more about Yuki's past, with Luka and with Kanata.

Lol...the Japanese ones I take it? I haven't actually heard of Sakurai doing anything of the sort, but there is at least one "Let's learn/speak Japanese" type of textbook that has a couple of seiyuu on it...

You could always read the manga, right?

Haven't managed to watch 7 yet... *sighs* Monday morning is a dilemma for me...but I think I'll keep choosing to watch Working!! first.

I would agree it's slow, But most of it's my fault for getting so engrossed in the show in the first place . I can't resist the manga for plot spoilers (plus the fact I'm not too sure the point of the plot yet but I have the general overview).

Off I go ~

Hahah, yeah, the Pimsleur Learning Japanese tapes. Man, if Luka was voicing it, I think my Japanese skills will vastly improve much quicker. ^_^

What I meant was that I like the show so much right now that I actually care about finding those things out. I am really tempted to read the manga but I don't want to spoil myself.

Having seen this show and Haku Kitan, I think this is how you're supposed to do a show with a hot guy protecting a weaker protagonist. I actually like Yuki a lot -- and I like how cutesy jealous Luka gets about him.
