His abnormality is the ability to stay "Unperceived". Basically, this means he has the has the ability to stay outside of the perception of others. (because he can't be perceived, even Medaka can't copy his abnormality)

The reason why Medaka brought Kujira along was because Kujira's personality was on the same wavelength as the former prez...so it would make it easier for them to notice him. (they are both bashful and playful serial liars who like to carry all their burdens alone)

Proof of this can be seen when Medaka asked the former prez to help the council against class minus 13. He declined her plea stating that he didn't want any trouble and just wanted to spend the rest of his high school life in peace. After he vanishes from their sight, he interrupts Kumagawa's teleconferencing with the rest of class minus 13 and smashes his head in.

I was going to read Psyren til i heard the main character's been missing for quite some time, But yeah, it'd take a while for Medaka to get cancelled, I mean it's one of the few series that's actually been good. I recommend Psyren because its awesome and the main character isnt missing at all. It has everything, awesome fighting, nice story and concept, as well as abit of romance and the story has been pretty consistent with how it started out, i.e no genre-shift and less randomness. And looks like it will be ending properly without getting axed. Oh the Protagonist Ageha is an awesome badass BTW and most of the characters, especially the two mains have been properly fleshed out and their connection and relationship with each other is something good as well. I just hope it doesnt end in a tragedy, which it just might . The proof of it being good is how it could continue in a magazine like Jump for so long

I dont read Medaka Box scanlations, except come here sometimes to see how its going, I quit in the middle, because of a number of things I didnt like. Will get back to it if it gets better and if Zen gets more screentime and that's why I have been tracking this thread to find out if the story is shifting more towards my liking, and it seems like with the introduction of -13 its taking a turn for the better. I especially liked how Zenkichi finally got a confession from a girl, because one of the things I didnt like about this manga was how, all the guys(also a girl) kept falling for Medaka but none of the girls showed no interest in Zen. But for now, I will keep biding my time and observe it for abit more before I give it a go again

I m not here to insinuate anything though and definitely not saying one is better than the other. Was just recommending a good manga. Hope I wont be misunderstood.

After reading that translation of Emukae's rant, she really is bat shit crazy. Yandere status confirmed and its hilarious that she stabbed him not because she viewed him as a member of the student council(thus enemy), but just because he was trying to run away.

Thanks again for the summary. The president's abnormality at least explains what they were saying about him being the "invisible hero" who protected the school last chapter. Although he just smashed Kumagawa's head in, I wonder what else he will have up his sleeve if it turns out Kumagawa can somehow perceive him.

Y'know, I'm finding it incredibly funny how, on the course of a few days, Emukae is this close to having more pics on Danbooru than Kikaijima (depending on whether the janitors approve the uploads)... though I admit to some of it being my fault. Theeeeeeeeeeeeen again, posted fanart on Medaka Box is sparse in Danbooru anyway.

Well, she's probably popular for a couple reasons. People seem to love Yanderes, plus she's the closest thing to a love rival for Medaka that we've seen in the manga, even if it is completely one-sided.
