But just like TigerII said, I would really love to see how they would implement modern technology into the game.
Wait.... The series is based on a book? o_O
Are the games being faithful so far?

Yeah a lot of people who are crazy Assassins Creeds fans who I met at the party of Assassins Creed 2 opening party told me that it was based on books. I haven't asked them the exact name of the book and so forth and haven't really been able to read it myself but I'll ask one of my friends whose crazy about the game as well and get back to you.

Thanks! ^^
I'm curious now... o_o
At least, if I manage to find the third book, I'll be able to enjoy the story, which is quite possibly the best thing in the series, right after finishing the second game. \o

But now I wonder how some of the scenes have been narrated, since there are some really complex ones.

...Assassin's Creed isn't based off of a book series, though it was originally inspired by various books about the Assassins.

Trust me, you won't find a trilogy of Assassin's Creed novels.

Uh. I guess it could be used for both, but it was originally intended for the X360 and PS3 games...

Some finds in case anyone wants to take a peek how Japan's going to receive the game. It's going to be out there for PS3 and XBOX 360 by December 3.

I assume it will be like most other Western releases in Japan. A medium sale. Not massive, not puny.

I'm not sure. The first one did earn a rerelease from Ubisoft Japan.

Not sure if I should mark this with spoilers or not so I'll just put a warning here. I will say something about the DS game below which takes place during a part of the story. I didn't say when but... yeah... just warning you.

I have to say AC2 is one of the best games released for the 360! I also like AC2 Discovery... but it is a game of it's own. It's a platforming game after all. Wish the story could have been included in AC2, but I'm happy with it being on the DS.... At least we get to see what happens in that gap in the storyline.

Anyway AC2 is a pretty amazing game! I really cant wait till 3!

That's a shame... ._.
Well, I did find out that there's a a book based off the games which will be realeased soon, called "Assassin's Creed: Renaissance".
There's also a short film called "Assassin's Creed: Lineage" which is a prequel to Assassin's Creed 2.

I saw that movie actually, it was brilliant, albeit it short but a real pleasure to watch. The acting was also pretty amazing and it does build the mood for the game.

Yeah, it's all on utube. I highly doubt they'll show it in the theatres because it's divided in three parts and each part is only 10 minutes long-ish. So it's definitely not something for the theatres. It's still many times better than 99% of all the movies that have been showing at the movies lately tho

I checked the Japanese Dubbed Trailer of Assassin's Creed 2 that the main protagonist (Desmond Miles) will be voiced dubbed none other than Tomokazu Seki (Previously who voiced was Konishi Katsuyuki).

Konishi was okay in his Altair voice though.
