I checked out Chiba's entry for Kabetaijin, the rapper in the recent Paripi Koumei ("Ya Boy Kongming"). While the two main female parts were credited to professional singers, I don't see any such listing for Chiba. I guess he must have performed his own songs.

Yeah, he's rapping himself
Though this probably has something to do with Avex (the company doing the music for the anime) not caring about selling rappers (I'm pretty sure the two singers are under them)

96Neko and Lezel are definitely under them since they had them do covers on their Youtube channel and all. Chiba got nothing. He's as useless to them as his character was to the series

It varies. VA recordings are often one of the first things done during production but, for example, when Yuuichirou Umehara got sick mid-season a few years ago, he was replaced for the last eps of some shows (like Darling in the Franxxx).

There is a high chance even if he made redcordings for these shows, they are not for all eps.

Some of us were puzzled when Sawashiro Miyuki continued to voice Kitarou though she had reportedly taken leave for the birth of her child. Probably those were in the can already as well.

I must say I am impressed with their decision. Two newcomer guy for most hyped anime this year. And Tomori as Makima? She used to voicing cute borderline Lolis and now she is voicing one of the most evil Characters.

The great Ohtake Hiroshi, a legend for many roles but most importantly for me Zeno from Hunter X Hunter 2011, passed away at the age of 90. I hope he's sharing a joyful hisashiburi with Nagai Ichirou (Netero) right now.

Mariya Ise got divorced and will take care of her child as a single mom. FYI, she was married in 2014 and had a child on the same year. So, I hope for the best on her.

Unfortunately in Japan it's very common for divorced dads to literally have no role in their kids' lives. As in, literally never see them ever.
