Croixas would set Ichika up with a remote monopole engine bit that would connect to the byakushiki's systems and provide extra boosters as well as auxiliary energy source that isn't limited by the software.

At least he didn't die alone. This was one of the original planned endings for Irish's scenario and it kind of cements that not everyone can get a happy ending. He at least died with the people he loved and he was happy.

Side note - What level are you in skyrim and what equips do you use?

@ Eratas: I'm a level 40 ritual werewolf redguard with two melee weapons. Depending on the enemy and what I feel like killing people with, I always vary the two.

Also, no one should ever die alone. Unless you turn into a zombie.

Another thing, I'm thinking of running a companion story by HoTM, you probably read the title in earlier pages.

"Through The Eyes of Another" is the HoTM universe thorugh the eyes of Ichika Orimura from his childhood through school, to ISA, to adulthood, to life as an old man.

It's literally his life's story.

It probably won't be written until HotM is finished though...

@ Rain - I don't want to make Shadow too long so I'm making definitive endings for them and their happy epilogues will carry on till they get kids. Ironically enough, both of Irish's and Ichika's kids are chick magnets. Ichika's is fully aware and a bit of a flirt while Irish's seems to inherit the idiot to romance gene

Side note - What equipment? I'm level 23 and have Daedric (legendary) armor, but I have no enchantments. Is your smithing and enchanting any good? Also, is there anyone in the game I can have Enchant for me?

@ Eratas: Anise's Cabin across the river from Riverwood, has an enchanting table in it's basement. I don't think you can get an NPC to enchant. You could try talking to Anise though. I don't enchant, since upon strict personal code, I don't use anything magic other than potions and items and my character's lycanthropy. My smithing is great though. I also have Daedric armor because I think it's cool.

And Kyuukai's future kid is a tsundere, while the other grows to be a mechanical gynoid teenager that develops Yuno Gasai yandere-ness to Ichika's and Irish's kids.

@ Rain - Ichika's kid depends on who he picks while Irish's two kids are a brother and sister pair. One's just like Yuriko and the other is Tat jr from Future Imperfect.

Side note - No emchantments? Then how do you handle those mages?

@ Eratas: I hit and hit until they die. I end up dodging spells from mages or blocking them with a shield. That's the only time I end up using a shield, also when I fight dragons. I have the spellbreaker shield, the one from "the only cure" quest.

Also, what do Ichika and Irish become in the future?

Kyuukai becomes a paraplegic housedad.

@ Rain - Irish most likely just becomes either an engineer or a doctor while Ichika is a teacher at ISA

Side note - A blood dragon just attacked me while I was doing a job for the thieves guild! I only have a basic Fus roh Dah since I haven't met the graybeards yet! Damn dragons.

@ Eratas: Prepatched giants annoyed me the most. I'm climbing a mountain, poking around at gold, when one punts me in the back and sends me flying off into the sky. I land in some town, dead on arrival. Approximately 5 km real life distance from my mining spot...

@ Eratas: When encountering dragons with immense fondness for firespewing, you could get the spellbreaker shield. It completely blocks breath attacks.
