I'm a bit confused about the "War Hammer Titan"-thing.
Wasn't it said up until now, that there are only nine titans? Eren has two of them (Attack and Original/Coordinate), then there is Armin with Colossal and Annie with the Female one, which makes four on the island. And the remaining five Titans were assembled in the room this chapter. So how does this additional titan fit in? |

Does anyone else find reading about these brainwashed hypocritical idiots painful?
These later chapters have been kinda cringy to read. So, aside from the mentioning of the original nine titans, anything else happened in this chapter? |

Even if they get back the other Titans, their days are numbered. The best path to survival should be to join the Eldians on Paradis Island. That should be clear to them. |

As I can see it, the Walled just want to be left alone and explore the world. And the Slaves want to kill them over false justice, and to please their Marleyan masters. Even if the Islanders are descended from butchers, they clearly don't remember it, and I believe they would see everyone else as the real devils, trying to slaughter them over their ancestor's supposed sins. |

I think the importance of these chapters is to establish the factions outside the island. Marley is going to lose the war at this rate, a consequence of their pride after defeating the Eldians long ago. The mainland Eldians have long been brainwashed by Marley propaganda into constantly hating their heritage. And you can see the internal struggles of some of the named Titans after their time on the island, let alone the rift between all of these factions. I can't say I sympathize with any of them, though, and I definitely can't stand the kids. Plus they killed Ymir. Screw them.

The Islanders are properly in Marley already and doing some recons to set up the nation downfall. when they take down all the warriors, Marley is fuck because all the other nation will take the chance to invade them.

Heh~ They keep talking about the "Devils" of Paradis island being a threat to the world when Marley's Eldian troops are that. I can't wait for the twist Paradis already sent envoys to other countries and making deals with to trap Marley when all their conscious titans are on the island. For the first time they have royalty that isn't the First King. That all they want is to be left alone. They'll take care of the Marley Titans while the other countries drive a dagger at Marley's heartlands.
About the War Hammer Titan clan taybar why do I have a feeling they pulled the same trick as the Fritz becoming the Reiss. As the real power behind the scenes. |

Zeke is spurred to speak by the admiral's comment on the Ms
declining military fortune and lose of titan monopoly, that threatens the position of himself and his family. He frankly states he does not want to face perils of the island again and it is a job for his eldest Colt. This in spite of Colt's non ace performance on and off the field. Reiner not at all kindly urges the young Falco to challenge his niece for the armored titan there by saving her from what this entails. Gabi surpass Falco in military skill and drive, she is also mental acute as shown by her conversation alone with Reiner. My gut instinct based on the mangaka's earlier work is that Colt will disappear fairly quickly and this side of the story will center on Gabi, Falco. and possibly Reiner. The mangaka has created a truly poisonous atmosphere where the Ms fear and despise the Es while brutally governing them, and some of the Es play along with this for safety, status, and perks a truly modern politically correct story. Honestly I've given up hoping for the Eldians on the Marleyan continent to be saved, there a lost cause. They've been brainwashed so much that you just have to pity them on how pathetic they look when they obey and bow down to their Mayleyan masters. They fail to even understand that as long as they live under Marleyan control, they will never be free. Eren and historian were right, the world is their enemy.
