That said, more of the Lucy-related fanservice has been removed, possibly because she's younger, or because the humor comes from her nonconsent. (Two instances during Galuna Island alone: the village guard telling Natsu and Gray to strip-search her, and Tauros tearing her clothes off at Sherry's command.)

There was earlier in the arc, if you don't remember. It wasn't as bad as this, where pretty much every image of them fighting is fanservice .

There was earlier in the arc, if you don't remember. It wasn't as bad as this, where pretty much every image of them fighting is fanservice

It would be when Lucy was facing against the old mage and how she got her outfit from the Monster Academy theme park. This takes place on chapter 183 and goes on in chapter 184.

Note that the translator for that omake screwed up and dropped a zero for all Fairy Hills rent prices.

Yeah i found it a little while ago. Downloaded it from MT, took a wile to find out which had to download all the specials to find.

I liked this manga but I wish the creator would've changed up the characters faces or something, so it doesn't resemble the Rave Master series.

Well that would've been the case if Mashima didn't like making references to earlier works in his current ones. FT has in Plue, cameo shots of Elie, Erza and Edo Erza have weapons and attacks taken from RM plus mangakas aren't known to change their style much.

This pretty much. We've seen solid improvent in the art, though that's nothing new with a long running series. I mean just look at One Piece.

Shame the fact that the characters 'look' like the ones in a past series would ruin the enjoyment factor for some people.

In the years to come, even if I forget everything about this manga, I'll still probably remember the ErzaXErza fight.

Even if I didn't really like this story-arc, this fight alone made up for it.

The battle between the three Dragon Slayers and Dorma Anim is near its end, with Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy exhausted and injured, while Faust merely laughs at their futile efforts. Knowing that they can't win like this, Gajeel tells all of them to fire their Dragon's Roar at the Dragon Knight. With its combined roar, the attack seemed to have worked. However, Dorma Anim merely jumped to avoid and counterattacked, critically injured all of them. Natsu, however, refused to give up, and continued to challenge it. Gajeel, taking this window of opportunity, Locks Dorma Anim's foot. Natsu then tells Wendy to use her Dragon's Roar directly on him. Natsu took advantaged the Sky Dragon Roar's spiral property, and pierced through Dorma Anim.

Liked the colore pages, especially the spread with the gang. Enjoyable chapter showing the "never give up" attitude of Nastu. I also noticed that Wendy looks somewhat like Range from Groove Adventure Rave. I enjoyed the appearance of the dragons as representations of their students when they were doing their attacks.
