... so as I'm slowly catching up on the anime episodes (since it's going to be hell trying to read the RAWs), after 13, I'm getting even more confirmation that Saten=Satan. For one, not only do we have all the smoke that Satan is often associated with (along with fire and the like), but the way he was speaking to the Squad, whispering temptations essentially... trademark move of Satan

and fo course he's still up to something devious... I'm hoping we get a tad bit more into the plot and some of the mysteries in the upcoming chapters

2 things about,

Cruz Schild
Aruka Schild

the word schild in dutch and german means shield if anyone didnt know yet ^^

Another thing is (if Aruka would stand for *ark*)
and Cruz would stand for Christ

there are 2 covenants Gods covenant of wich the items are within the ark and Gods new covenant of christ. Might be significant but didnt put much thought in the meaning yet. Anyways usualy a name linked to something *good* doesnt turn out to be evil...as far as i know....

wouldnt look to much into it, you seen all the hairstyls in the anime? Cruz,Kazumi Eve and a few others all share the same hairstyl lol. Does that make Cruz Eve?....
Also you forget that unless its a transfer of the mind from Arclight or doppelganger from Eve nobody else can look exactly the same as Blade.

About another name from the story ^^

Simeon.

some facts?

-Simeon is 1 of the 12 sons of Jacob
-Simeon was the eldest son present when they sold Josef (absence of Ruben whos the eldest son) and therefore responsible for this act.
-Simeon was the son who was held ransom by Josef in Egypt so the others would bring Benjamin for him to see.
-When Mozes blessed the tribes of Israel for their journey to the promised land Simeon was skipped.
-Simeon together with Levi was responsible for the brutal murder of the people of Sichem in ancient times.
-perhaps also not coincidence, Simeon had its lands within those of Juda (Juda who would be the tribe from wich Christ is said to be born) And the lands of Simeon are therefore completely surrounded inside the territory of Juda.

-Maybe the most important fact of all Simeon a priest at the temple of Jerusalem was promised to see the mesia/Christ before his death. He recognized him and blessed him.
-The name Simeon means *to hear/to be heard*.

the 3 girls names i looked up

Setsuna: Calm Snow < rather odd since her frag is speed nothing calm bout that lol
Kuchinashi: seems to mean * no mouth*? would be obvious.
Mio: Beautifull Cherry < seems obvious as well.

Saten: seems to mean *amber* wich is a gemstone
Riru: unknown
Uten:unknown
Aruka:unknown *suspect it to be a form of Ark*

yes the ark of the covenant, both are named shield and Aruka doesnt have a oposite meaning towards Cruz, She also prayed at church in chap 12 so lets wait for what she says there and on a few other ocasions before im jumping to conclusions but it seems rather fitting for her to be (ar*k*)
She seems religious in chapter 12 wonder when she dropped that.

Cruz is spanish for cross
you are right that Aruka(also called Arca depending on translation) is spanish for ark
Aruka almost killed Cruz, which means she at least was angry enough at him to want him dead, now not as much.
Right now shes a villain, and a near emotionless killer, did you read horror house it has an example of that. Some people switch sides some dont.

no no im not saying she aint a villain but 1 with a complicated history wich only adds to the character. Shes not just a chick with murderous intent.
Im eager for chapter 12 translated to see what she prays for etc. Kinda see how she slipped down to were she is now.
And ofc what it means for the future chapters.
It gets realy interesting with Saten and Aruka and their double agendas. Its not like im only fixated at his sister but Saten just didnt get that much to say yet. Hes confirmed to be *a* survivor from the incident so he must be 1 of the scientists namely the one that worked with Gidon i think but im not sure bout that yet ^^

he hasnt said much but hes done plenty, are you watching the episodes or reading the raws, because he was never confirmed as a survivor in the manga thats just the anime. (and the manga has better seens that were omitted for god knows what reasons in the anime, well time constraint is one reason)

yes they are dead lol i know that and some other things but i cant see the details written since i dont speak japanese so if he said hes a survivor as well in the manga i dunno.It is anime only were you see him talk with the board perhaps he mentioned it elsewere?
It seems like a vital part to the plot if he did if not why mention it sideways in the anime? Would only complicate things, so ok ill leave that in between till its translated...wich could take a wile thats in the chap 50s :P and translations are at 12....

Yeah the glasses scientist his name is Kannazuki Kyouji and yes, he has the same voice actor as Saten.
what do you think about this?

Well the manga so far did not touch the matter of Saten yet (matter of fact he hasnt been seen since Simeon exploded).But it could be a part of the general plot, i dunno.

Its about what he said in the anime (in short)
Gidon is a survivor of the Simeon disaster like him. But the manga doesnt talk about this, tho its not impossible since the lift scene is the last scene in the manga Saten is seen.
So since chapter 50 hes MIA :P
It would be cool tho if the manga puts this in the next chapter of the manga.

This is the first big plot difference concerning a main character in the anime btw, apart from the bit were the 3 pretty girls only made nude pics of those other 2 were in the manga they kill them. But that doesnt concern the main plot.
Saten knowing Gidon from the past changes a lot to the plot.

Whether that filler part of the anime is canon or just an add remains unknown. Only manga content is canon, so don't break your heads. Just let the plot progress.

Well Kami Imai did made Seto and Solva and the long haired Blade along with Kana and her village canon.

Even Solva has the vol of Needless 0 pointing out Blade recruited them. BOOM!!! cannon

Yes well im just wondering if the conversations of Saten with the commitee arnt canon. Since even filler is taken from Zero.
Its the first time something that might affect the plot has showed up in the anime thats not from the manga.
