You can think of Madoka however you want. So can the rest of us.
Dear Triple R, can you please read my post very carefully?

I don't remember doing the exact things you are accusing me of.

And by forgetting about the world, I mean in the now! Right in present! Where is God now?

And since I am not a religious person, I am not really looking for an argument.

As you yourself said, we can think of Madoka as we wish but your remark is kinda...

Very well. Then let's get back to talking about Madoka Magica.

And then:

=/

Maybe it's just me, but following a passive-aggressive remark about somebody's religion with a claim that you don't want to start an argument is sort of weird. Not being religious is all well and good (I'm completely non-religious myself), but taking snipes at other religions that you don't follow anyway and then claiming to not be looking for an argument is kind of dishonest.

Sigh,

So much over thinking is the downside of Madoka.

But if my wording is wrong, then I apologise.

If you wonder where this show is at right now, well...

She's currently sandwiched between the works of Anno (now runs Khara) and Akai (who resigned from Gainax after being blasted by 2ch in 2007). Furthermore, it's a bit of a coincidence because Shaft once worked with Gainax on the joint project Mahoromatic.

Nice to see Madoka crack the Top 10, as it's now in my own personal Top 10 as well.

May be it is obvious for some people, but where are these ranking from?

PS:
And did Triple_R avatar pic just changed ;p?

As showed by Madoka Magica's meteoric rise in the ratings, and by my avatar, Hope springs eternal.

Oh god, what's Rebuild 2.0 instead of the original series doing there

But MAL ratings are MAL ratings; still funny I guess.

It's most likely gonna score above Evangelion 2.0 and Code Geass which means I would expect to see Madoka climb up to rank 7 soon. As for it passing Clannad: AS, we'll see. It's a huge gap between rank 7 and 6 so its gonna be a bit tough for Madoka climb past it, but I'm hopeful

Interesting. I am actually quite surprised how well LoGH does as well. May be there are a lot of hidden LoGH fans out there that I do not know. LoGH is amazing - certainly ranks against the best series out there - everyone should watch.

And the gap between 2 and 6 are quite small comparatively. May be Madoka can be #2 .

Just went to Know Your Meme and I was surprised to find that Kyubey has an article and is also in the front page!

So far it's still being evaluated, but given the popularity of Madoka, the evil emoticon just might get confirmed as an official meme

Gen left the show in ambiguity on purpose. Heavy discussions and debates that are happening right now just means Madoka is one hell of a show!! i'm pretty sure these won't die any sooner. XD and i'm glad about that. XD

Someone on /a/ posted a summary of the Drama CD that came with BD vol. 1. It's apparently set during Timeline 1 of episode 10 and goes a little in-depth and expands to what happened during that timeline. Not sure if its legit, but it seems so. Heres a link to the thread: http://boards.4chan.org/a/res/48664832#48666058

Spoiler for Drama CD 1 Summary:

If this summary is legit, apparently the black cat from the OP is relevant!

Lain...Exactly what did Lain do for the world?

I'm sure there are other Godly beings in anime but I will bet none of them are are beneficial to and selfless towards humanity as Madoka is!
Haruhi CREATED the world, Lain altered a few things just like Madoka. And I wouldn't call her wish beneficial since nothing really improved in the world.

That is just a form of good storytelling and not always a good one. Legend of Galactic Heroes had nothing cryptic about it and is the best scenario ever written in anime.

Ending in a vague way that is open to interpetation may just be the author becoming lazy and leaving everything as a blur, just like his thoughts, as red herring to his inability to bring a clear closure.

I would mention why the Code Geass finale is a retarded piece of poop but it would get too off-topic. Bottom line, a vague ending is not a good ending. Just something that deliberately leaves the reader / viewer to give the answer.

Everywhere. He is God, remember?

As for the Madoka ranking, she is as I write this post #8 in anidb. But that means very little since we all know anime drop after awhile. We can see its more objective place after a year or more has passed.

I still love how Gintama completely dominates MAL's rankings.

I love Madoka and all but I doubt it will ever surpass CLANNAD: After Story (at least, not anytime soon, but it'll be pretty tough for it to surpass a series of CLANNAD's caliber).

Not sure if this is the correct place but out of curiousity:

i)What were the initial speculations on here surrounding Walpurgistnacht's origins?
ii)Will Kazumi Magica/Oriko Magica ever delve into Walpurgisnacht's origins?

Watching the last two episodes really bugged me given that we're watching Homura battle the final boss and we still know practically nothing about it. Given how insightful and intellectual the debates/speculations have been on Animesuki throughout Madoka's broadcast, I think any perspectives would be helpful in shedding light on the enigmatic final boss.

I know I should skim through past pages for a look-see but I'm just wondering if any speculations/facts have changed since Madoka concluded.

Let it be known that in an interview (I don't have a link right now but trust me) Urobuchi said that shaft had randomly decided to put a black cat and then asked him if could write in a cat in the drama CD and Urobuchi agreed.
But I wasn't expecting him to make the cat such a key character in the series.
