Jibril has knowledge but not much wisdom, as she's so powerful she's rarely needed any. It's the reason she lost to Blank, had she used wisdom over knowledge she possibly would have won (as having the triad of knowledge, power, and wisdom makes for a dangerous enemy, but wisdom on it's own can trump both knowledge and power).

Also in the LN this might just be me but I felt a little incredulous when Kurami made that reaction about Sora's memories. Exactly what about his past was so horrifying. The LN lost me a little at that part.

What horrified reaction to Sora's memories?
Didn't see any of that in the episode. Seems like a part that I really need to look at the LNs for. The type of story/chapter setup that really relies on character reactions and monologues to get the full fill of the distress. How sure how Shiro won by playing 3 stones in a row...aren't you only allowed to play one stone at a time for othello?

I was kinda confused half the episode because I really had no clue was the heck was going on.
But just like Shiro got it I started to understand it too. Sora is a damn genius. Still makes no sense how she could set the pieces so accurate. |

I think that the 3 pieces left on Sora and Shirou side are supposed to be placed in the border - between black pieces - and/or at the corner. That way, black side can't "win" those three, but white side can connect and regain a lot of the table. |

Some? Those were all of his memories. That's why the two collapsed when they lost them - they were essentially vegetables. |

Hmm... I was expecting a bit more to be made of the part where Feel begged for mercy on Clammy/Kurami's behalf. I think it would have been more touching to have let her beg a bit more. Not because I want to see her suffer, but because it would have helped really show the depth of her feelings for her human companion.
...Don't mind me. Good episode. Good job on Shiro's part. I have to question Sora's gambler's mentality: surely he could have found a way to share his memories with Clammy/Kurami and/or bring her over to their side without running such an insane risk? He always plays for such high stakes.

Nah, because the Imaniti literally have nothing left to gamble with. And with rumors going about of Sora defeating an elf in a game, the other races are leery of the situation. Sora needs to gamble big to win big. Winning this match will earn him all of the warbeasts territory. It also acts as a tool to make sure that they can't back out without losing face.

Well, it's not like there's a harem or a place within it.
After this episode, Kurami and Sora know everything about each other. Sora can now even tell from where Kurami begins washing herself and Kurami knows what kind of stuff can please Sora. The shared memory thing almost made them the same person from their first 18 years of life, from an experience point of view. Kurami and Fii aren't either in some kind of yuri relationship.

Decent episode, I've got no qualms with the omitted material because it wasn't exactly necessary to the plot. In terms of faithfulness, this one was rather faithful, but like I said above, there was omitted material.
Spoiler for Omitted material:
Episode gets a 9 from me. I'm a pessimistic person, so the cut material, while it isn't important, still irks me.
