Both of them originally belonged to the Feddies, thus most likely they were returned to the Feddies as the first war ended.
Of course, by the start of the 2nd war, they were woefully outdated! - Tak

By the end of Gundam SEED Strike was already being outdated so Duel and Buster would probably retired or turned into spare parts after the war. It's not like they're about to be displayed in a museum or anything.

But they were supposed to be used by the Atlantic Federation forces, weren't they?
I understand that the EA was the overall formation, but it is to my understanding that, essentially, the Allied blocs could act independently in some respects. Only the Atlantic Federation fielding certain weapons and only the Eurasians fielding certain weapons, among other things, was a common practice, no? So maybe Tak is referring to the fact that only the Atlantic Federation was going to use the Duel and Buster. (As a side note, yes, I do know that "Feddies" is a common term associated with the original MS Gundam)

Urm, I thought I told you before, I -don't- give a shit.
Especially when given the fact that the two key players of the Alliance refer to themselves as some kind of a 'Federation'. In addition my difficulties and utter-laziness of breaking old habits (why am I explaining this again?). And I have no intention to do so anytime soon. So, you can chew words all you wish, flung your half-decent, but otherwise irritating Japanese (unless you think you are the only person here who digests anything Jappo). I -on the other hand- will enjoy -and- exercise my right, inscribed in the constitution (without of course, interfering with yours), to be, well, wrong. PS. JagdPanther, I use the term 'Feddie' all the time as a reference to most Earth-bound Gundam factions. I find myself way too lazy to remember the new names for new factions, because they are after all, more or less the same-friggin-thing. - Tak (Get a grip for pity's sake...)

It is perfectly fine for him to refer to them as Feddies, because most of the people on the forum know what group of people he's referring to.
"Moronic viewers of these forums" - Comments like that lead people to believe you think you're smarter than the average person perusing these boards - you might be, but you shouldn't assume so. Nor do I believe there's very many exceptionally stupid people on these boards (actually I have one in mind, but it's no one in this thread). Back on topic, I reckon the Duel and Buster look like poo poo. The Buster's colour scheme is especially, poo poo.

Well according to Wikipedia, after the 1st Bloody Valentine, the treaty signed stated that all G-series are to be destroyed and that may perhaps be what happened to Duel and Buster. Yes, they also proposed Freedom to be burnt into oblivion but that doesn't happen, compliments to Darth Lacus.
And yes, Buster is a bit poo poo coloured... |
