'Fake' sign language interpreter signs along to tributes from Nelson Mandela's grandchildren
A sign language interpreter, now claimed to be a fake, was filmed making meaningless gestures throughout the speeches of Nelson Mandela's grandchildren at his memorial on Tuesday

12:17PM GMT 11 Dec 2013

The interpreter who signed Nelson Mandela's memorial on Thursday for deaf viewers was a fake, according to experts.

The man, who signed for a portion of the ceremony including US President Barack Obama's speech, was simply making up his own signs, the Deaf Federation of South Africa has said.

Deaf viewers in the stadium and those at home would have made little sense of yesterday's proceedings, including Mr Obama's speech and the tributes of Nelson Mandela's grandchildren.
I'll just stand here and waive my arms about. That should do it... right?

Tsukiko’s Daily Show Debut Totally Tentacular:

"Tsukiko of Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko fame has been gaining notoriety of late
due to her entirely unexpected and hopefully incidental appearance on The Daily
Show – being menaced by tentacles in a very unofficial manner."

Climate change expert's fraud was 'crime of massive proportion,' say feds:

"The EPA’s highest-paid employee and a leading expert on climate change deserves
to go to prison for at least 30 months for lying to his bosses and saying he was a
CIA spy working in Pakistan so he could avoid doing his real job, say federal
prosecutors."

I thought this was pretty stupid regardless if she saved her money or not, the UPS guy was doing his job by keeping it out of site not just to joke around, they bought her a new one anyway.
Atleast she refused all the other people trying to buy her one.

Well, from the article, it doesn't seem like the lady is that well-off that she can buy another gift for her child, so it's understandable that she'll freak-out before finding out that UPS will buy her a new one(in fact, just the driver saying that he didn't leave it at trash can out of fear of reppercussion is enough to make UPS to not willing to refund the item)

Children evacuated from swimming pool after prosthetic leg mistaken for paedophile

Quote:
Others asked how teachers were able to tell that the prosthetic leg belonged to a paedophile. “Do paedophiles have different artificial limbs?” tweeted one reader.
... do I even need to add anything here?

I dedicate this to our very own Last Samurai.

Thank you for giving us something to laugh about amid riot investigations, deportations and alcohol bans.

Amazon is making it harder to sell Bigfoot porn ebooks

Basically, Amazon is making it hard for authors of cross-species romance between humans and mythical creatures in selling their stories.

Please do.

With the tensions in South China see and unrest everywhere, the world militaries are itching for a fight.

Well, they always stated that any embargo against them by US or SK is an act of war...
