He's a Pokemon. It's a parody manga as well, and it wouldn't surprise me if he got called back into a pokeball-like thing by Athena. Oh, or he could be a parody of Naruto. He gets serious and starts popping tails. Heh...

Better yet:

I wonder if they'll finally meet for real soon. Maybe Hata is deliberately postponing the scene, or perhaps building up suspense? Maybe he's still unsure how to proceed with the event? Hook them together, misunderstanding galore, no meeting, rejected, gem stolen, Athena's offer to work for her accepted, etc...

To answer your question Rah, it appears Athena most probably hid somewhere when she noticed Hayate was coming around. I presumed she left in the spoilers since pages 13 and 14 weren't in the spoilers, and the summary didn't describe where Athena went. When you ask a question I might not be able to answer immediately/shortly, since I'm sleeping when you're awake and vice-versa.

I suspect it won't be this (upcoming) chapter or the next chapter to be honest. Hayate seems to be sleeping/unconcious in the upcoming chapter and I also suspect that the next chapter after that would be a collection of memories and whatnot.

Hopefully, Hata won't pull a "Hayate getting lost in the castle" and waste some valuable pages. And I think we should expect some conversation between Ayumu and Hina.

Yes but that doesn't stop Hata from drawing past memories and adding a little bit of dialog to either make a far bigger, dramatic closer to the arc OR just to think up of more material for the next few arcs.

I don't think thats very likely, since nearly all of chapter 243 is from Athena's perspective. If you're already impatient about the cliffhangar, the following weeks will make you even more impatient. Hayate and Athena's reunion (if they meet in the next chapter) will most likely take up a few chapters and will leave more cliffhangars.
