I think I need help in writing profiles. Seems like I suck even more at writing profiles than at writing comedy. Here is a semi complete profile of another of my mention characters Director Tsuzuki.

Director Shouryuu Tsuzuki, 5th director of the TSAB's Central Science & Development Bureau. A genius mage scientist that has many accomplishments under his name of which the most famous is the adaptation of the CVK-792-compatible system (Belka-type cartridge system) for reliable usage in standard storage devices. Considered as one of the founders of the Neo-Belkan mage style but for reasons unknown, has requested to strike out his name.

Shouryuu Tsuzuki, joined the CSDB 13 years ago as a young but up coming genius scientist and was placed under the direct supervision of the 4th Director. Working hard, he slowly climbed up the ranks and took over his mentor's position 5 years later as the 5th director of the CSDB. His predecessor was glad that his student has taken over the position, allowing him to finally "rest his weary old bones after clearing up the mess, Director Testarossa caused"

Personality:
If every man has at least a vice, sheer pervertedness would be his. The best way to describe Tsuzuki would be to call him a "Smart but crazy, sick, equal opportunity pervert of the greatest caliber". Young or old, man or woman, human or not, nothing is safe from his pervertedness although he has a tendency to go after the males first. Due to this habit of his, the staff of the CSDB has been known to put up signs at the entrance, warning visitors to come in armed and in their barrier jackets if they got one.

Relationships:
He gets along relatively well with the other members of the CSDB who have learned to simply bash Tsuzuki with what ever is on hand whenever he displays perverted tendencies. There is one exception, Urudo, who does the opposite and joins in for the fun of it.

His relationship with other people tend to have many varied reactions but the most common seems to be unsurprisingly, the victim screaming blue murder and then proceeding to beat him up.

One surprising item of note is that he has a steady girlfriend by name of Makoto Kashiwagi.

Device: Storage Device "Hatto"
Unknown to most people, the very bright yellow hard hat that Tsuzuki is constantly wearing is actually his device. When asked about why is the device in that shape, the reply is that he thinks its cool and it helps to protect his head from the "brutal" blows from his stuff when he's having some fun.

Barrier Jacket:
Does not seem to wear one but many people highly suspect that the off-white scientist coat is actually his BJ.

Other notes:
- Known to keep 2 white lab rats.
- Stunning recovery rate after getting beaten by outraged victim.
- There is a unconfirmed rumor that part of the training course to become an Enforcer involves staying calm and cool no matter the situation and the test for this involves paying a visit to the CSDB's director.

However, the better driver was evident; the black racer's drift was even narrower than the silver one; and for the final straight run Testarossa was in the lead.

Nanoha Original Characters One-on-One Battle Tournament!

Right here we will decide who is the most powerful, or most lucky, character created so far!

Will Serge be defeated? Will Tais be the ultimate winner? We will soon find out!

The winner of this tournament will be blessed with the ability to wield the Legendary Holy Sword, Soul Calibur!


The Battle Basics:

The battles are simple. Every character will be given a set amount of HP and a set amount of stats, as follows:

HP: 20
STR: 10
MAG: 10
P.Def: 5
M.Def: 5
Speed: 1
Evasion: 1

Stats explanation:
Strength (STR): Physical damage
Magic (MAG): Magical damage
Physical Defense (P.Def): Defense against physical damage
Magic Defense (M.Def): Defense against magical damage
Speed: Used to decide who attacks first each round
Evasion: Chance to evade physical and magical attacks

In a perfect world, a battle will be over in four rounds of attacks.

Now this is where it gets interesting: Depending on your character, your stats will be differ a lot from other characters.

First, you will pick two of the following Character Classes for your character:

Warrior (+2 STR, -1 MAG, -1 M.Def)
Knight (+2 P.Def, -1 STR, -1 MAG)
Mage (+2 MAG, -1 STR, -1 P.Def)
Priest (+2 M.Def, -1 STR, -1 MAG)
Rogue (+1 Speed, -1 to STR, MAG, P.Def, and M.Def)
Ranger (+1 Evasion, -2 P.Def, -2 M.Def)

Second, you will pick your character's Attack Behavior. You will be given 6 points to choose between Physical Attack and Magic Attack. To explain how this works, I will give an example:

When battling, Nanoha will most likely attack with magic spells. For her, 5 out of the 6 points will be placed on Magic Attack. What this means is that 83% of the time (5/6) Nanoha will attack using a magic spell, which deals Magic Damage.

Please do not give your characters Attack Behaviors of either 6/6 Physical Attack or 6/6 Magic Attack. A regular melee fighter would have an AB of 5/6 Physical Attack, and a regular mage would have an AB of 5/6 Magic Attack.

The only rule behind choosing your Character Classes and Attack Behavior is that you should stay true to your character's natures.

That's it! Your character is ready for battle!

The Battle Mechanics:

Battles will be fought using a 6 sided die. (Dice Roller)

1. At the beginning of each Round the two character's Speed values are compared. If the values are the same, a die will be rolled for each character to decide who goes first. If not, the character whose Speed value is greater will go first.
2. A die will be rolled for the attacking character to determine what type of attack he/she will use. Example: If a character has 5/6 points in Magic Attack, if the die rolls 1-5, the character will use a Magic Attack. If the die rolls 6, a Physical Attack will be used. The spell or ability used will be randomly taken from a character's move list. If a character does not have a move list, a general description of the attack will be used, taking into account the character's way of fighting. Note that the spell or ability called will not affect the damage or any other thing whatsoever. The spell and ability names will just be used for fun.
3. The attacking character will deal the amount of damage equal to his/her STR or MAG stats, depending on the type of attack used, minus the amount of the defending character's P.Def or M.Def stats.
4. Lastly, a die will be rolled to determine if the defending character evades the incoming attack, halving the attack's damage. A regular character has an Evasion value of 1, so a die roll of 1 would be needed to activate the evasive maneuver. A character with an Evasion value of 2 would need a die roll of 1 or 2 to activate.

In approximately four rounds the battle will end, and the winner will go on to the next round.

EXPERIMENTAL: Limit Breaks

Spoiler for Limit Breaks:

Every two rounds (round 2, 4, 6, etc) each character will roll a die to activate his/her Limit Break. The chance of activation is 1/6. You will be able to choose one Limit Break for your character out of the following:

Breaker / Last Resort (next attack deals double damage after calculations are completed)
Sonic Move / Defensive Barrier / Luck (completely nullify the damage of your opponent's next attack)
Reflection / Barrier Burst / Counter Attack / Thorns (halves incoming damage and deals the same amount of damage to the attacker)

The Tournament:

How the tournament will play out depends on how many characters are submitted. More info will be available when the tournament starts.

The Prize:

The winner of the tournament will receive the Holy Sword, Soul Calibur, which has the following stats: +1 STR, +1 M.Def. The winner will be able to wield this artifact in the next tournament!

I think I did a good job at balancing the character classes, but... well, obviously I have not tried many actual battles so I dont know if any combinations of classes are overpowered... Sooo, you guys help me.

Kha theoretically has 6 forms, the current 3, and the future 3 which replaces them when the God Empress (or an equivalent) is found. Post StrikerS development though, so it'll be a while.

If Kha never knew Holy magic, he'd be a Fusion mage, geared towards supporting other mages, possibly fusing with them like a Unison Device, and being able to sense their magical fluctuations is able to coordinate and perform unbelievable combination attacks.

Let's look at some of them today, starting with the Aces. It helps to imagine it happening with SRW Alpha-type poppy animation.

Spoiler for Preview - "Codex: Dämonjäger":

Dead End Breaker - Nanoha - This requires RH's Excelion mode. Kha charges in while Nanoha prepares Barrel Shot. With the target binded in place by the MC mage, Kha homes in and unleaches the 3 different protection-piercing Siegel point blank. This is done in between weapon strikes so that the Urteil take effect before throwing the next one in. Sequence of attacks is as follows: Slash, Kha ends up on the other side; triggers first Siegel; slash, throw second Siegel; slash, then the third barrier breaker Siegel, then slash. With all protection shattered dramatically, Kha darts away as Nanoha yells "BREAK SHOOT!"

Dead End Breaker EX - Nanoha - This requires RH's Excelion mode and Kha's Schneiderform armor. Both mages switch roles. Nanoha goes into ACS, then charges, penetrating the barrier then firing. Before the enemy can recover, Kha, having only mastered 7 Stanzas out of the rumored 1000, darts around the target and fires 6 Stanzas of Requiem Breaker into its back, dashes in, punches the target and unleashes the 7th Stanza from his fist. As Kha learns more Stanzas of the Requiem Breaker, so would the number and type of strikes involved increase.

Dragon Breath - Keroko - Kha charges in and melees with "Blessed Soul" active, out matching the target with his heightened speed and reflexes then when the enemy mage least expects it, unleashes 5 Siegel von Righteousness in such a way that the target is tossed airborne to be chain-Ion Cannon Breaker'd to smithereens.

Diabolic Edict - Hayate - Kha charges in and melees with "Blessed Soul" active, out matching the target with his heightened speed and reflexes then when the enemy mage least expects it, unleashes the short version of the"Confession" bind, nailing him in place for Diabolic Emission to smash in.

Twin Zamber Strike - Fate - Often referred to as Twin love-Bird Strike by Hayate and Keroko. Kha, with "Blessed Soul" active, and Fate jettison their outermost layers of armor :drool: and switch to Sonicform and Jaegerform respectively while Bardiche assumes Zamber form and Tausend Kreuz uses all 10 cartridges at once, resulting in an enlarged Gestraftes Rapier. Both mages mobilize at high speeds, confusing the enemy. Fate launches the Plasma Lancer attack from a higher altitude. Kha moves in, and with the time bought grabs the enemy with the full "Confession" bind. Kha lifts the enemy up as though its with the Force, with Fate then firing the Trident Smasher into the enemy, and ending with a short burst of the Plasma Zamber Breaker. The enemy is released from the "Confession", but is hit back by Kha throwing "Seal of Justice", binding the enemy again. With one final strike, both mages deal the cutting attack with their respective blades, finishing the enemy.

Tais was the latest person to feel this awesome attack, though he is the only person to have ever survived, since both mages were using non-lethal magic. That did not prevent Yui from almost being reformatted by the damage.

Thanks for your welcome!

@ Erio: The basic concept is interesting...but people who have submitted a thousand characters (like Kha) have a much better chance of winning than someone who's just submitted one or two. Plus, depending upon how many characters are entered, it could take freaking forever. My recommendation, if I may, is that if we do this, that each user only be allowed to submit a max of two characters - that'll keep things fairly even AND streamline the tournament.

The 82nd Rim Advance Force: the “Noble Phantasms”

About the RAF:

As much as the Bureau are scientists and warriors, they are also explorers. The Rim Advance Force, or RAF, is the Bureau’s exploration arm. Established in Mid-Childia Year 0047, the RAF serves in multiple roles throughout the galaxy – though their duties are primarily as peacekeepers or diplomats. Each squad is composed of four to seven mages of mixed styles to allow for flexibility. At present (year 0075) there are a total of 93 RAF squads operating throughout the galaxy.

Operation Principles of the RAF:

As stated before, each RAF squad is made up of four to seven mages of differing styles. Each squad also has their own long-range patrol ship; these differ according to the needs and size of the unit. RAF squads work on a 9:3 yearly basis – they spend nine months out on the frontier, and then three months back at the Core Worlds serving with the rest of the Bureau. Note: RAF Squadrons, due to both the nature of the job, and the size of their unit, are exempted from the limiter requirements imposed on regular Bureau forces.

About the 82nd Squadron:

Established in Mid-Childia Year 0063, the 82nd Squadron has served with distinction on the frontier ever since its inception. The 82nd is the RAF special purpose squad: they fight pirates, solve crimes, make treaties, and recruit would-be mages. The only units more highly regarded than the 82nd are the 1st RAF Squadron, “The Big Red Ones,” and the “Fighting 17th” RAF Squadron. The current 82nd call the Delphinus home – a top-of-the-line patrol ship equipped with long-range drives and an advanced AI developed at TSAB HQ on Mid-Childia. The nickname “Noble Phantasms” comes from the fact that they are some of the most honorable mages in the Bureaus, but hardly ever around. The handle was adopted by the 82nd only one year ago – proposed by a mage who’d spent too much time on Earth.

Profile:
Director Shouryuu Tsuzuki, 5th director of the TSAB's Central Science & Development Bureau. A genius mage scientist that has many accomplishments under his name of which the most famous is the adaptation of the CVK-792-compatible system (Belka-type cartridge system) for reliable usage in standard storage devices. Considered as one of the founders of the Neo-Belkan mage style but for reasons unknown, has requested to strike out his name.

Shouryuu Tsuzuki, joined the CSDB 13 years ago as a young but up coming genius scientist and was placed under the direct supervision of the 4th Director. Working hard, he slowly climbed up the ranks and took over his mentor's position 5 years later as the 5th director of the CSDB. His predecessor was glad that his student has taken over the position, allowing him to finally "rest his weary old bones after clearing up the mess, Director Testarossa caused"

Personality:
If every man has at least a vice, sheer pervertedness would be his. The best way to describe Tsuzuki would be to call him a "Smart but crazy, sick, equal opportunity pervert of the greatest caliber". Young or old, man or woman, human or not, nothing is safe from his pervertedness although he has a tendency to go after the males first. Due to this habit of his, the staff of the CSDB has been known to put up signs at the entrance, warning visitors to come in armed and in their barrier jackets if they got one.

Relationships:
He gets along relatively well with the other members of the CSDB who have learned to simply bash Tsuzuki with what ever is on hand whenever he displays perverted tendencies. There is one exception, Urudo, who does the opposite and joins in for the fun of it.

His relationship with other people tend to have many varied reactions but the most common seems to be unsurprisingly, the victim screaming blue murder and then proceeding to beat him up.

One surprising item of note is that he has a steady girlfriend by name of Makoto Kashiwagi.

Device: Storage Device "Hatto"
Unknown to most people, the very bright yellow hard hat that Tsuzuki is constantly wearing is actually his device. When asked about why is the device in that shape, the reply is that he thinks its cool and it helps to protect his head from the "brutal" blows from his stuff when he's having some fun.

Barrier Jacket:
Does not seem to wear one but many people highly suspect that the off-white scientist coat is actually his BJ.

Other notes:
- Known to keep 2 white lab rats.
- Stunning recovery rate after getting beaten by outraged victim.
- There is a unconfirmed rumor that part of the training course to become an Enforcer involves staying calm and cool no matter the situation and the test for this involves paying a visit to the CSDB's director.

I'll update this when I get more inspiration.

The Battle Basics:

The battles are simple. Every character will be given a set amount of HP and a set amount of stats, as follows:

HP: 20
STR: 10
MAG: 10
P.Def: 5
M.Def: 5
Speed: 1
Evasion: 1

Stats explanation:
Strength (STR): Physical damage
Magic (MAG): Magical damage
Physical Defense (P.Def): Defense against physical damage
Magic Defense (M.Def): Defense against magical damage
Speed: Used to decide who attacks first each round
Evasion: Chance to evade physical and magical attacks

In a perfect world, a battle will be over in four rounds of attacks.

Now this is where it gets interesting: Depending on your character, your stats will be differ a lot from other characters.

First, you will pick two of the following Character Classes for your character:

Warrior (+2 STR, -1 MAG, -1 M.Def)
Knight (+2 P.Def, -1 STR, -1 MAG)
Mage (+2 MAG, -1 STR, -1 P.Def)
Priest (+2 M.Def, -1 STR, -1 MAG)
Rogue (+1 Speed, -1 to STR, MAG, P.Def, and M.Def)
Ranger (+1 Evasion, -2 P.Def, -2 M.Def)

Second, you will pick your character's Attack Behavior. You will be given 6 points to choose between Physical Attack and Magic Attack. To explain how this works, I will give an example:

When battling, Nanoha will most likely attack with magic spells. For her, 5 out of the 6 points will be placed on Magic Attack. What this means is that 83% of the time (5/6) Nanoha will attack using a magic spell, which deals Magic Damage.

Please do not give your characters Attack Behaviors of either 6/6 Physical Attack or 6/6 Magic Attack. A regular melee fighter would have an AB of 5/6 Physical Attack, and a regular mage would have an AB of 5/6 Magic Attack.

The only rule behind choosing your Character Classes and Attack Behavior is that you should stay true to your character's natures.

That's it! Your character is ready for battle!

The Battle Mechanics:

Battles will be fought using a 6 sided die. (Dice Roller)

1. At the beginning of each Round the two character's Speed values are compared. If the values are the same, a die will be rolled for each character to decide who goes first. If not, the character whose Speed value is greater will go first.
2. A die will be rolled for the attacking character to determine what type of attack he/she will use. Example: If a character has 5/6 points in Magic Attack, if the die rolls 1-5, the character will use a Magic Attack. If the die rolls 6, a Physical Attack will be used. The spell or ability used will be randomly taken from a character's move list. If a character does not have a move list, a general description of the attack will be used, taking into account the character's way of fighting. Note that the spell or ability called will not affect the damage or any other thing whatsoever. The spell and ability names will just be used for fun.
3. The attacking character will deal the amount of damage equal to his/her STR or MAG stats, depending on the type of attack used, minus the amount of the defending character's P.Def or M.Def stats.
4. Lastly, a die will be rolled to determine if the defending character evades the incoming attack, halving the attack's damage. A regular character has an Evasion value of 1, so a die roll of 1 would be needed to activate the evasive maneuver. A character with an Evasion value of 2 would need a die roll of 1 or 2 to activate.

In approximately four rounds the battle will end, and the winner will go on to the next round.

EXPERIMENTAL: Limit Breaks

Every two rounds (round 2, 4, 6, etc) each character will roll a die to activate his/her Limit Break. The chance of activation is 1/6. You will be able to choose one Limit Break for your character out of the following:

Breaker / Last Resort (next attack deals double damage after calculations are completed)
Sonic Move / Defensive Barrier / Luck (completely nullify the damage of your opponent's next attack)
Reflection / Barrier Burst / Counter Attack / Thorns (halves incoming damage and deals the same amount of damage to the attacker)

The Tournament:

How the tournament will play out depends on how many characters are submitted. More info will be available when the tournament starts.

The winner of the tournament will receive the Holy Sword, Soul Calibur, which has the following stats: +1 STR, +1 M.Def. The winner will be able to wield this artifact in the next tournament!

How did I come up with this? I have no idea. It was pretty fun to think how the battles would play out and stuff.

I think I did a good job at balancing the character classes, but... well, obviously I have not tried many actual battles so I dont know if any combinations of classes are overpowered... Sooo, you guys help me.

And the big question: Do you guys wanna do this? lol

If Kha never knew Holy magic, he'd be a Fusion mage, geared towards supporting other mages, possibly fusing with them like a Unison Device, and being able to sense their magical fluctuations is able to coordinate and perform unbelievable combination attacks.

Let's look at some of them today, starting with the Aces. It helps to imagine it happening with SRW Alpha-type poppy animation.

Dead End Breaker - Nanoha - This requires RH's Excelion mode. Kha charges in while Nanoha prepares Barrel Shot. With the target binded in place by the MC mage, Kha homes in and unleaches the 3 different protection-piercing Siegel point blank. This is done in between weapon strikes so that the Urteil take effect before throwing the next one in. Sequence of attacks is as follows: Slash, Kha ends up on the other side; triggers first Siegel; slash, throw second Siegel; slash, then the third barrier breaker Siegel, then slash. With all protection shattered dramatically, Kha darts away as Nanoha yells "BREAK SHOOT!"

Dead End Breaker EX - Nanoha - This requires RH's Excelion mode and Kha's Schneiderform armor. Both mages switch roles. Nanoha goes into ACS, then charges, penetrating the barrier then firing. Before the enemy can recover, Kha, having only mastered 7 Stanzas out of the rumored 1000, darts around the target and fires 6 Stanzas of Requiem Breaker into its back, dashes in, punches the target and unleashes the 7th Stanza from his fist. As Kha learns more Stanzas of the Requiem Breaker, so would the number and type of strikes involved increase.

Dragon Breath - Keroko - Kha charges in and melees with "Blessed Soul" active, out matching the target with his heightened speed and reflexes then when the enemy mage least expects it, unleashes 5 Siegel von Righteousness in such a way that the target is tossed airborne to be chain-Ion Cannon Breaker'd to smithereens.

Diabolic Edict - Hayate - Kha charges in and melees with "Blessed Soul" active, out matching the target with his heightened speed and reflexes then when the enemy mage least expects it, unleashes the short version of the"Confession" bind, nailing him in place for Diabolic Emission to smash in.

Twin Zamber Strike - Fate - Often referred to as Twin love-Bird Strike by Hayate and Keroko. Kha, with "Blessed Soul" active, and Fate jettison their outermost layers of armor :drool: and switch to Sonicform and Jaegerform respectively while Bardiche assumes Zamber form and Tausend Kreuz uses all 10 cartridges at once, resulting in an enlarged Gestraftes Rapier. Both mages mobilize at high speeds, confusing the enemy. Fate launches the Plasma Lancer attack from a higher altitude. Kha moves in, and with the time bought grabs the enemy with the full "Confession" bind. Kha lifts the enemy up as though its with the Force, with Fate then firing the Trident Smasher into the enemy, and ending with a short burst of the Plasma Zamber Breaker. The enemy is released from the "Confession", but is hit back by Kha throwing "Seal of Justice", binding the enemy again. With one final strike, both mages deal the cutting attack with their respective blades, finishing the enemy.

Tais was the latest person to feel this awesome attack, though he is the only person to have ever survived, since both mages were using non-lethal magic. That did not prevent Yui from almost being reformatted by the damage.

Sorry Nighty!!! That was toooooo irresistible...

Combo Attacks?! Nice to see how Kha has different combo attacks for each Ace, and ACS combo rocks But the best of them all is...
