BNC Banzai!!! edit: I was just on LIME's site, and they said that High School Girls project is on indefinite suspension, and that the way that things are going, they might drop it. Last edited by Aqualung; 2006-04-20 at 23:57. |

Himeji Kyoko isn't a virgin, Sato Ayamo had found herself a boyfriend in ep3(screw the stupid handsome guy long name ), thus herself being a big fat easy target to Eriko, Akane and Yuma. FYI: Baka corp squad 1 includes Ayamo, Eriko, Akane and Yuma, squad 2 include the rest 2 girls: Kyoko and Ikue combo. Lost virgin? Moe no more. Akane way to stand out from other? Dress strangely!! She's in drama club anyway, wearing different clothes won't be a problem for her. (Yeah, show me a girl whom can wear like Akane in ep3. I'll try hit her if possible. ) Eriko has good study rates but never in PE. I can expect to see her suffering in ep 4 since poor Yuma will suffer her monthly duties of girls. |

Also, I've made a sticky post at our site's forums to list all the subtle jokes and cultural references in the series. Well, all the ones that I can pick out, anyway |

Episode 3. Now that was funny.
The Kouda-Eriko rap scene was brilliant! As was the dildo. I just love the way this show is so unashamedly dirty. It's very refreshing. I thought the whole Ogawa conflict and the way it just resolved itself was a tad silly, but, then again, I'm not watching this show for its plot. As long as the (low-brow) comedy continues delivering, this show still gets my thumbs up. I really can't see why there's a controversy about the fanservice. The whole point is for it to augment the comedy, and unlike the vast majority of harem fanservice comedies in anime, it does its job fairly well. This show really only has one aim: to make its audience laugh, and, IMO, it's achieving that quite respectfully.

Spoiler for manga:

In that sense ep 3 was the best yet for me, because instead of wall-to-wall pantsu it focussed on what makes the manga funny: the interactions between the girls, the way they flip between pack instinct and back-stabbing, the cringe factor when they try to be cool... I find the characters a likeable bunch of baka, so I hope we'll see more episodes where the humour is about them and not their underwear. Spoiler for ep 4:
