There is that, but there is also the fates of the two....probably three Iscandarians. If the story follows the older stories beats, well, Starsha will probably died to save them all.
The question will be Yurisha, who who was last seen on Gamilas, and the existence of little human hybrid Sasha. We see defaced statues of Queen Guardiana in the trailer, so those would be Galmans who worship her in the core world of the Milky Way Galaxy under the oppression of the Bolar. Those will be liberated....but their religion will likley be suppressed by Dessler. Either to have himself placed in the place of person to worship.....or to eventually be replaced with the one he worships....Starsha.

By the way do we know how much Musashi amplified Andromeda's Wave Motion cannon power?
Or do we have some sort of the energy/power/destruction chart of the various Wave Motion Cannons? Yamato style singular beam Wave Motion Cannon used by the Yamato and apparently by the smaller vessels during the Gatlantis war like the Farraguts, Königsbergs, Kongos etc? Dispersion type used by the new generation capital ships, Andromeda, Gangut/Dreadnought, Apollo? Amplified single beam type used by the Andromeda-Musashi combo? Rapid Fire mode we seen in one of the old movies? |

I don't think there is a diffinative chart or anything about the difference between wave motion guns in terms of damage output. Andromeda will do more than Yamato and it has more versatile modes than Yamato currently has. The Dreadnoughts will be as powerful or maybe slightly less powerful than Yamato, depending on how different their wave motion engine's output is, but the Dreadnoughts are more versatile in their modes. The lighter ships appear to have convergence mode guns that are less powerful that a Dreadnought, but can still destroy multiple enemy ships with a single blast, if the enemy groups up. The Kongo and cruisers might have another mode (if they have two of the escort wave motion guns inline like the Dreadnoughts do), but the escorts will not, as they should have a single small wave motion gun.

Arizona has a splitter in its wave motion gun and a very long bow. For the remake I imagine they will have taken a pair of wave motion guns that the Andromedas have and put them in-line for Arizona.

I agree.
Wish I had the time to make my own ideas, but between Nexus Arcana SF novel artwork and Star Trek, I'm swamped. Just finished another Star Trek model (for my fans). Spoiler for Star Trek:
Someday I'll get back to Yamato.

I wonder how they're going to change the story? In the previews it does look like Gamilas gets damaged, maybe even destroyed. One thing is for sure, 2205 is going to be amazing.
