It could possibly be some allusion to the main plot and characters. But the most likely reason it's about baseball is because the World Baseball Classic tournament just started in Tokyo this week.

Japan vs China in the first game and Japan kicked their ass 4-0

just finished watching episode 9 on chinese subs. if there's any indication that akiha and itsuki also have QT power in the future, then this episode may have just done that.

Finally got to watching this. Good episode. I was getting a little irritated when I saw Leopard getting bossed around by our new comers, Akiha's sister's and school head person, especially when they said he was going to be put under their administration. I was like no way Leopard would let that happen let this happen (that's what I like about him, his rebellious attitude and free going behavior, so when it seemed like that was in jeopardy I was a little upset), but I was SUPER happy when Leopard finally burst and threw them out. Glad to see Honoka feels the same way as me!

Poor Nami, she seems to be really different out of all the sisters, maybe except for Akiha, and out caste. This is going to cause something bad soon in the future most likely, but I bet Arikha will save her.

Those 2 ICP girls are pretty damn amusing.

You can't ignore Isuki or stop liking her. Her train of thinking and actions are pretty wow.

Time for ep 10!!!

Interesting to see that Honoka, in this episode, plays a demon who is just as dangerous as Leopard. It's just that she looked the same as the normal Honoka. Otherwise she is an entirely different person.

It's a pity everyone had already analyzed the show to death. There isn't much more to talk about.

In the next episode preview, the dialog is silly as usual. It appears Akiha was playing some sort of strip-game with Honoka, and she kept losing. And the result is that she ran out of things to take off except that "thing" on her head. (That headband had actually been taken off in the show in bath scenes, so it isn't permanently attached.)
Akiha made a big deal about not wanting to take off the headband in the preview talk though. Perhaps it might be a plotpoint later, or could it be a red herring?
Either way, the idea that Akiha is suppose to be naked is the image they are after. All the previews in this show are all a little suspect, after all.

The bit where Itsuki jumps over the wall (particularly the landing) is a reference to the godmother of Japanese cyberpunk: Motoko Kusanagi of Ghost in the Shell...

i only seen the chinese sub, i haven't seen the english sub. but i think it's implied that akiha want to kill nami, but she stopped when nami apologized

yes itsuki got shot by Tsutsuji Baba, the red hair girl beside nerval(or nelval, what ever his spelling was)

lol I'm glad for you, your waifu looked really wonderful in Kuro Lolita. You declared your waifu just before episode 9 aired, when I watched, I knew you actually made a unique and good choice lol

The episode itself being funny to some, awesome to others, now is actually quite scary with the supposed foreshadowing it has. Some of the events in this episode is happening already.
