I think I'm just gonna stay out of this thread until the chapter comes out...we're dealing with my little yandere so I dunno who I might start acting if the discussion continues for further =.=
With that said, someone please warn me if there's a new development until the chapter release (ie: new spoiler info or the spoilers turning out fake...which I doubt by now) Thank you |

Jesus Christ guys, what's with the overreactions to a chapter which hasn't even been translated yet. Calm the fuck down and wait until you can actually read the chapter, then think about whether it's really as bad as you thought it was.
This isn't Nishio "trolling", it's just proper story development. How would Emukae stand a chance against the strongest Suitor in the entire group? What has the Joker group been doing all this time? When would Nishio move this arc away from its current blatantly artificial standard shounen setup? These obvious questions/plotholes Nishio introduced into the story are now being answered, at pretty much just the right timing. After all, Zenkichi and Naze, up to Emukae, are all characters people have been following for a while and have thus gotten invested in, but you didn't seriously think that even Wanizuka and Torai would get their own individual, stretched out battles did you? As an entertainer Nishio knows how to mix things up and keep things interesting; that's what he's doing right now. Is Emukae a minor character? Hell no, she's Zenkichi's most prominent alternate love interest, right after Medaka. Practically all her continuing development, and further relevance within the series, will be centred around that theme. However, you can't expect the story to focus exclusively on that when we're right in the middle of a major arc. Who are the Kurakami clan subfamilies, and what are their goals and abilities that would allow them to take down even the most overpowered group of Medaka Box characters we have seen so far? These are the actual primary questions right now, and it'd be best not to lose sight of them, no matter how we're going through the arc. |

Spoiler:
Still though, I'm only basing my opinion off the spoiler, which hasn't been confirmed as 100% true yet. However, if it is exactly how Tenchi is describing, Nishio either hit a bad writting spot, had to form an excuse to re-introduce Kumagawa, or is just trolling. |

Maybe I am discussing too primitive, but I do not agree with anyone who thinks that there is a possibility of final another than Zenkichi x Medaka.
It certainly exists, but it -> 0 (in term of mathematic) There are many explicit and implicit evidence that: - Medaka is the main love interest Zenkichi - Zenkichi is the main love interest Medaka Re-read the chapter 145 - Zenkichi says absolutely clear - http://www.mangareader.net/medaka-box/145/13 |
