If I remember clearly, due to time constraints on Sushi's part, she stopped making anymore summaries after volume 7. Also she stopped cause there was already a site starting up that are doing the translation...

Don't know myself on how far they but there google sub heading thing is "From Zero no Tsukaima Novel Translations. Jump to: navigation, search. Welcome to Zero no Tsukaima Novels, the free translation project that you can be a ..." so i guess this what they did. Did a bit of research today and found out that it was mentioned in a couple of forums including this one but in this one there was a guy wanting to translate for the site so go grab that guy Onizuka. And please try translating faster, your speed of translating is seriously making me wonder if i shoould learn Japanese in uni and waste $45,000 (it would be a waste really but please translate faster). i'll keep an eye on the site to see if anything comes up.

Yes there is a group translating, but due to the novel being licenced i can't tell you where it is. Although don't expect to read too far even if you find it cause they just finished the first volume

Correction, didn't notice you saying, fangroup, the novel translation is more of a group thing, where anyone can contribute to the translation. It's a wikisite.

Money makes alot of things go fast! Well, money and sex.

Except the latter is harder to fulfil.

i dunno what else might make them speed up....Violence?

thats harsh, really harsh. Hmm what happens if I can get a friend to help out to. I guess the more translators the better. But he said the he'll only do it if the translation gets proofed again by another guy. I yes, I'll get my friend to contact you. And money, i'll try to get some to the group thing (i'll make sure its above $100 AUS but i don't know when-bank account and stuff).

lol yeah, and i hope the translators are in america, cause right now the australian dollar has risen to 88 US cents. If anyone wants to donate AUS dollars now is the time!

No light novel author can write that fast, I think. ^^;
The usual interval between light novel volume releases is around 2-4 months, although that can vary further depending on the author (some writes faster than others). In Yamaguchi-sensei's case, ~3 months is the usual wait period.

You asked the question just in time too, since here's the info on the next volume, to be released on August 24th. Yes, that's 5 days from now. ^^;

By Tristan's Queen Henrietta's request, Saito and the gang met with Tiffania and managed to bring her back to the academy with them, despite the obstacles they met along the way. Through Henrietta's arrangement, Tiffania was made to attend the same academy as Louise and others, and due to her adorable looks and "revolutionary" chest, she soon became a popular person in the class. However, wanting to keep the fact that she is a half-elf secret, Tiffania spent her days quietly with a hat over her head. Displeased at how Tiffania suddenly appeared and stole their popularity, some female students schemed to take her hat...... (Chapter 1) That popular character is active too!? The super popular alternate world fantasy is taking a breather with a short story collection!

So, looks like it'll be a short story compilation similar to volume 5. I don't mind, since the story has been pretty thick and heavy ever since volume 6, we could use a breather or two, with Miss bust revolution, no less.
