http://sailormoon-official.com/information/post_110.php It's a stage appearance for Nico Nico Chou Party 3 by the Sailor Moon 20th aniversary project members. Of course those involved in the Sailor Moon musical will appear too And it seems Nico will be airing the anime officially...

There seems to be a bit of a debate on the Anime News Network comments section (in regards to he voice actors announcements) as to who should do the voices. At least the Japanese voices. Some are leaning towards new voices while others are leaning towards recruiting as many of the old voice actors (from the original anime) as possible. I know the English version isn't popular here, but I can't help but wonder if they do bring the new anime to the U.S........oh hell, what am I talking about?! I KNOW someone will be wanting to bring the series here on U.S. TV, so I'm wondering if whoever dubbs the new anime if they will have new voice actresses or hire some of the older voice actresses from the first dub. I risk being smacked across the head for saying this, but I'd like for Lita/Makoto's english voice actor to be recast as Makoto once again. Hell, when I read the Manga to this day I always hear Makoto's voice as Susan Roman's (the woman who did the english voice for Makoto/Sailor Jupiter). |

Ooh, did not now that
Tbh I couldn't care less about any dub they may or may not do... Wouldn't touch any of that with a barge pole nor would I wish to suffer any of the old voices ever again. Part of the reason I disliked Usagi and Rei until I read the manga was that awful voice they had in the German dub. Rei sounded like some kind of passive aggressive auntie and Usagi like she needed a good slapping to stop her screeching and squeaking you into a coma. And they were both absolutely insufferable. Though we never had it as bad as the American dub, from what I saw... I give the Germans props for at least trying. The American dub.. Yeah that was a whole new level of "I can't believe people got paid for this" Guess I'm one of those people with whom the dub isn't popular.. XD I'm more concerned about how they'll update some of the more dated aspects of the show... Stuff that was innovative back then, but isn't anymore.. Or if they'll add some foreshadowing as to the locations of the outers during the Moon Kingdom. The more I think about it, there is stuff that I'm a bit confused about (like why Queen Serenity needed to make a big deal out of getting them all reincarnated, when Star Seeds should have that covered anyways) ... Which may be something I missed or that happened because the series was extended beyond it's intended run.

Not sure if this is news already, but I found this article on Anime News Network a few minutes ago. Thought I share it, anyway, regardless of whether or not anyone's in the know.

I guess I'm more put off by the fact that it looks nothing like the first key visual and that it's super gaudy. But the more I look at it, the more it grows on me. I guess it could be worse. On the bright side, they're using the manga outfits except for Mars and Jupiter.
